We fell behind in July after months of trying to keep our heads above water. The final straw was when our township double billed our taxes and shot our escrow account up, which raised our payments. We have since rectified the tax situation and they are working on rebalancing the escrow. We were taken out of the modification process once for a broken payment agreement (which we never agreed to, it raised our payments another $600 a month!) and we were put back in the modification process yesterday. I called the executive team? and seemed to get further with them. Anyway, what can I expect from here? As I said we are now 90 days behind and waiting to find out what HAMP can do... thanks! |
