After adjusting our halo's, we called the lender (Saxon) just to say hi, been thinking about ya and btw WTH is going on with our modification... ...And lo! We've arrived in "Phase 2," or so they say. The only additional document they requested is another bank statement. Not updated paystubs!? Weird. And we can expect a "decision" within 30-45 days!!! Huh? A decision? Thought qualifying for the trial WAS the frigging decision! But of course, not to worry, as long as we have been "truthful" everything will be ok. Oh, and there's always the option of reapplying for a different modification. They have lots to choose from. Kind of a smorgasbord of loan games to play. And of course, they aren't just collecting these trial payments with the intention of kicking us to the curb whenever they feel like it. No, of course not. Even though technically they could because technically there is NO modification until they say there is. Just keep sending in those trial payments and they really do appreciate it. Good to know, huh? And what, we humbly petitioned, could bring a negative decision on our bowed heads at this point in time? Why, practically anything. After all, circumstances keep changing. Apparently, if it's been Groundhog Day ever since the first trial period, that would be a good thing. Are we having fun yet? |
