Load Modifed - Now I am late!

I am due for July and cannot pay it until next week . Are the repercussions more steep now that my loan has been modified?? I am nervous because HomeQ hasnt called me since Aug 1 and they would normally call 5x a day. Anyone know what could happen?? I am sick to my stomach

Hello and welcome to this forum,
I think you should call your lender and let them know why your check is going to be late, don't be scared, you are only making you sick. If your loan was already modified and you are in 3 months trial period and missed the first payment, you still have two months to prove that you are worthy to be modified. And the only one who can help you in this situation is YOU, COURAGE AND DETERMINATION will make you go through this fear that is eating you inside out. Don't do this to yourself. Call your lender, THEY DON'T BITE and you can always hung up if they are rude. Ask to talk to a supervisor when you call so decision can be made right away in your situation.

You're due for July or August? You're saying you're already 30 days late? Have you already been modified, or are you only in the trial period?
