You did right by contacting your attorney ansd see if she can negoitate with GMAC to see if you can get the modification reapproved. Weird because I have heard quite a few cases here were the lenders are not updating their systems with the new terms after the modification is complete. I'm thinking they are just backed up with mods and some are falling through the cracks...

I called the lawyer haven't heard from her.. got home last night after work. found a FEDEX on my porch ..letter dated July 21 lowered interest rate 7.99 was 14.25 to 9.99 and wrote of interest and lates from nov to aug.. but this time not writeing down a portion of the principal .. (this is a second) I guess just keep on pushing and making a stink and eventually it works out .. I have till aug 4th to pay the downpayment which I assume thats the aug payment and it begins sept 1. |
