Chase Collection/foreclosure

Hi All, This is my first post. I'm about to make my 4th and final trial payment for a Chase Loan mod program. My question is, Have you benngetting the phone calls, and letters fron Chase trying to get you to pay on the original loan? This makes me nervous although the loan mod people say to ignore it. I have a certified letter from Chase coming today, I'm scared to see what's in it! Has anyone gone through this? Is this a foreclosure document?-Thanks,Tim

Re: Chase Collection/foreclosure

When I first stop paying both loans from chase the phone calls began after 60 days late. Both loan collection departments began calls at 10-12 per day. As the third month came 20-25 calls per day. I did answer the phone a few times and they were nice and just wanted payment. I fully understand we have an agreement to pay on time and now it was turned over to collections. The told me they will continue calling from 8:00am-7:00pm PST M-S. They never once wanted any info on the mod company and really didn't care that I was seeking help from a thrid party. So after talking to them three times, I no longer cared to answer the phone.

After the forth month I disconnected my home phone. Now chase calls my work line maybe once every two weeks. I did hire a loan mod company and when chase calls me they just want 24 hour access to speak with the mod company.

Both collection departments told me they can't use e-mail to negotiate and they cannot call thrid parties like lod mod companies without our ok.

Five months now and no NOD and still I am not on the payment plan. I have made the 2nd loan payment in full in June and July. Have still heard nothing about the first...
