They absolutley make you wait 5 days before they even talk to you if you are not the borrower. i am help some friends out on there problem. That wait time is ridiculous considering wells fargo services a porfollio that stomps chases in the mud and they will talk to you in 3 days or sooner if you get the right CS agent to look for it for you. anyway, as for those number i posted they are acurate up to date and go to the office in san diego . but im sure there are more out there. lol |

I am sorry that you are not having as good of an experience as I am having with Chase. I had my step son fax a letter immediately putting me on the loan for communication purpose and I am the only one they speak with. I call the supervisor that is taking care of my mod and leave a message and he calls back the same day.... Good luck in helping your friends with the mod.......I hope we are both successful!! Keep us posted on your progress!

Could you please start your own thread in the Tell Us Your Story section of the forum and tell your story in detail so that we may take a look and help anyway that we can. We need all the information about your loan: What state are you in? What is the loan amount and current value on your property? What type of loan is it? Is it an Option Arm? One loan or two? Are you late on payments? Did the interest rate adjust and to what?

I had major problems with my modification and after 4 months of dealing with the "Workout dept" at Countrywide I was able to speak to my Negotiator directly. Here's How: When I called the 800 number for Countrywide I asked the rep who my new negotiator was and he told me her name and the extension she was at. When I hung up I called the phone number you posted above (661-951-5100). It prompts you for a 4 digit extension. I dialed it and got connected to my negotiator immediately. She wasn't happy I was calling but my modification was completed shortly after. |

Aegis out of Jacksonville Fl, license expired in July 1,2005. This is one month after they funded our preditory loan. The broker went out of business shortly afterward, they were out of Tampa. All phones to broker disconnected. This company(Aegis) is now part-owned by a private-equity firm. Cerberus (three headed dog that guards the gates of hell) actually posted on their web site. Cerberus Capital: Hedge fund were they sell part of your mortgage in $25,000 shares, then bundle them up and sell them to someone else who is unknowing Management, LP. So, do we really know who really as our mortgages? 299 Park Ave. NY. NY 10171 Chairman: John W. Snow Wilshire Credit Corp: Owned by Merrill Lynch Loan Servicing Administration Brian Barbeau Phone: 888-502-0100 Fax: 503-952-7476 This company is difficult to deal with because they only service the loan, they don"t fund it, and as far as I can found out they are owned by Merrill Lynch. |

I mean they do have an incentive to mitigate losses in some cases. You would think that they would have a streamline process where they are able to pick out the best borrowers for loan modification. |

If the bank was trying to recover some losses wouldnt they be on top of it? Instead, showing resistance...... |

Are you having problems with a certain lender? Is there something that we might be able to help you with? I hate to say this, but half the time you aren't being directed to the Loss Mitigation Dept. either they just transer you from Customer Service to Collections..........unless you run into a forum like ours that can direct you otherwise......... The reality is that if someone is in default and can't really afford the mortgage.........their isn't anything that the Loss Mitigation Dept. can do..........
