Forensic Loan Audit???????

Hello All,
I am like so many homeowners across america, I purchased my home at the height of the market and took out an Option Arm loan. The result is that I am in a loan that I desperately want to get out of and the value of my home is $80k under the mortgage note.
I have a first mtg serviced by Aurora Loan services($320k) and a second mtg with GMAC @($42k). I would like to do a loan modification, but Aurora has been less than forward in helping my situation. I have not been late on a payment, but I can't build any equity with the house totally undervalued and the payments on the principal & interest are too much.
I have been approached by a mtg broker telling me that with the help of a forensic loan audit($500) sent to my loan servicers, that they will work with me to not only get a loan mod.,but also a principle reduction............

I would like to know if anyone has applied a forensic loan audit to a successful loan mod and principle reduction????
How reliable is this loan audit in helping me to keep my home and begin to buiild equity???????

This does not sound like a legit broker, it could possibly be one of those scam companies but not sure. True sometimes forensic loan audits may some some sort of a pull with some lenders if violations are found. But from my experience and Im sure and you will find if you keep exploring this site, principle reductions are very very rare and hardly any homeowners have achieved this, even with an audit...
