I am waiting the paperwork, but Mike informed that the new trial payment is over 50% less of what my loan payment was, and it includes taxes and insurance. this is no small matter as my loan is over $400K.

It is one of the 5 year deals and then the payment goes up 1% a year eventually reaching the going rate. At that time I hope that my income increases, home equity is restored or other....

We are celebrating tonite as it has been amost a year that we went into foreclosure!

All I can say is be patient, find the right person that can help you. this forum is a great resource and I could not have gotten where I am today without it. I wish I had the money back I spent on a useless lawyer!
I got the 5 yrs plan from litton as well.. 2% for 5 yrs, then 1% increase and I'll cap at 5.13%.. Hoping for increase in wages in 5 yrs...

Re: Litton Loan Mod .. Starting Trial Period..

Are you getting an 'in-house' mod or is this a HAMP modification (if you know)?

Re: Litton Loan Mod .. Starting Trial Period..

When I applied in April Litton had not signed on. It's in house but mirrors the HAMP mods. My mod is complete. I was told that since it's not the HAMP mod if I can't afford the payment after 5 yrs I can reapply at that time.

Re: Litton Loan Mod .. Starting Trial Period..

Busker,

Don't quite understand...I was told that all foreclosure action would be put on hold while they were working out the trial mod.
So have you completed the trial mod and are now waiting for the final modification OR did you not receive the final mod?

Thanks

Re: Litton Loan Mod .. Starting Trial Period..

Bailey's Dad,

We sent the fiirst trial payment in on 9/25, (it was due 10/1) along with 2 signed modification packages I also spoke to Litton on 9/14 to confirm that all paperwork was in order. On Litton loan.com there is a mesaage to me that paperwork is still needed. Now we find that the court date is monday.
