It will cost you about 13.00, but it is cheap insurance. Before I had started having serious trouble, I googled Litton, and there were all kinds of complaints about people not having their payments credited. Once your trial is over, you can go back to online, but if I ever get my mod, I will use western union. |

When they answer, ask is it is the executive resolution, because if they are busy, you may be routed to a different dept. If you are routed to a different dept, ask to be connected to the ERT. Once there, Brenda Garza is the most helpful; Ms. Benjamin not-so-much-so, but YMMV. Good luck |

My paperwork says payment due on or before the first of the month. Unless it is absolutely necessary, try to make your payment by the first and wait until you have the loan mod finalized before you start using your grace period..IMHO |

Just to keep making the modified payment by the 1st of each month... I should now have it by Sept blah blah blah.. But like Baileys Dad said, don't use that grace period yet until it's a done deal.. Remember Litton can take it away quicker then they gave it.. In other words until its complete in the system and recorded with the county these mods are not final... Please keep me posted on your paperwork and I will do the same... Nita |

They said after reviewing both my husband and my YTD gross income and computing the monthly gross w/ their calculators, it was more than 25% increase from what the verbal gross income was stated....so now we have to start another trial mod period with a higher payment. I'm to call early next week to find out the details. We started this process in December w/ NACA and I can only think that they may have incorrectly listed our Monthly NET total vs. Gross. UGH! I had resent our paystubs in April, and then again in August...why it took 4 months to come to this conclusion....I'm beside myself. Now it's looking like our MOD won't be finalized until December instead of 9/01. |

No I did recieve an call from Mike craw the manger in loss mitigation he said if the current martket rate is 8.25% in five years yes it could possibly happen. But again I asked him why is it 902.88 as of Sept 1St. He just said well Im still saving 700.00 dollars a month. aint that sum bs. Well everyone expect that trial payment not going to be the payment you pay after the three months. And he said yes I can pay on the 11th Im finishe dwill the process and as soon as I pay Sep thats when litton will send out the permenat mod. |

I am worried that when I send in my last pmt that I will be jerked around as well. No guarantee they will grant my trial mod pmt to be what it is today AND whether I get a modification or not. I feel like telling them to just take the house. An apt won't fit my family (we have too many kids to fit, all boys and one girl so we can't even double up in rooms-ugh)but I will do it if I have to. We looked into renting which may be an option. so if Litton jerks me off, they can just have the house. I feel like I am throwing away $1900 for 3 months just to find out that I either won't get the mod or they will try to stick me w/a higher payment. I'm probably going to have to file BK anyway since paying this pmt is making it so I can't make credit card pmts on some of my cards. Oh well, that's the way it is. Anyone make the 3 trial pmts and get a loan mod permanent w/the same pmt? |

The last activity on our account was 8/25 when they noted the variance in gross monthly income vs verbal. She said to wait for documentation and pointed out to me that if we are denied the modification we would be responsible for paying over $7,000 in back payments. If I don't receive any documentation, I am supposed make another trial payment due by Oct 1st. Has anyone had better luck with the Loss Mitigtation dept? I normally call the Executive Resolution Team? It doesn't seem like they know anything and if you call 3X's you'll get 3 different answers! |

I got his name from this forum for which I am truly thankful. Prior to this I was going with NACA and nothing happened for 6 months. In a period of about a month and a with a resubmission of documents, today I was notified that my loan was eligible for modification under the HAMP guidelines. I am waiting the paperwork, but Mike informed that the new trial payment is over 50% less of what my loan payment was, and it includes taxes and insurance. this is no small matter as my loan is over $400K. It is one of the 5 year deals and then the payment goes up 1% a year eventually reaching the going rate. At that time I hope that my income increases, home equity is restored or other.... We are celebrating tonite as it has been amost a year that we went into foreclosure! All I can say is be patient, find the right person that can help you. this forum is a great resource and I could not have gotten where I am today without it. I wish I had the money back I spent on a useless lawyer! |
