I received my "trail work out plan" from Litton and my first payment was due June 1st, with the last payment due Aug 1st. But in talking with someone at Litton the other day they said my modification had been denied. Does anyone know what this means? When I tried asking some one today what my actual payment was supposed to be if they denied the modification all they could give me was the workout plan number. Interestingly enough, my mortgage payment acutally went up with the "work out plan", as the moved me from an ARM to a Fixed rate. Anyone else have this issue? Or suggestions for help? |

Momof1 I know that Litton has said and I was told that there was a delay in the mailings of the documents. They have a third party that types them up and mails them out, I don't know, maybe they didn't tell the 3rd party not to mail them. Were you denied after you were told you were preapproved? I would call the number they gave to you and see what they said. Or try calling the ERT number at 713-218-4592 and see if they know anything.

My loan number stayed the same from when Avleo merged with Litton. My investor number is 6707832 - Just for kicks I tried googling it and nothing came up... I am going to call Litton and see if they will tell me who my investor is..

I have been trying to get litton to modify my loan and to no avail. This forum has so many information, I just don't know where to start. All the blogs I have read of Litton has been very discouraging. I tried to apply for a loan modification about 5 months ago and was denied. Everything I have read about people's experience with Litton, has happened to me. Please Give me some sort of advise in proceeding with another request for a loan modification. |

I stumbled upon this blog a couple of weeks ago and it has been a life saver....no more dealing with the Loss Mitigation Department at Litton who jacked me around for months on end. My first attempt this way met with denial again (they had input some numbers wrong) I just sent an e-mail yesterday to all of the following people asking them to reconsider based on the wrong information and had a call within a few hours, they are reworking the numbers and while not guaranteeing anything at least they are working on a resolution and are having it expedited. This is the executive team number that *** has posted Litton Loan Executive Resolution Team Direct: 1-713-218-4592 Fax: 1-713-966-8852 Best of luck to you!

You are correct Momof1, Litton's investors wouldn't sign on for the Obama plan so they are following the guidelines but no money as an incentive is what I was told. Mom, I can't remember did you say you are in the trial mod with Litton? |

It is so hard because I live in California and by the time I get off work, LItton is closed. I will however gather all my paper work this weekend and start emailing them through the proper channels. I was able to get some email address through another thread. |

It turns out that what is hurting me is that this year my company gave a bonus (it is strictly discretionairy - which means next year I may not get one) and Litton was factoring that in which made a significant increase to my monthly salary. When I explained that it was discretionary they said that they would re-look at my modification. Please note that when determining a mod they will only give you one if your mortgage payment is more than 31% of your monthly salary. The thing that bums me out is that they do not factor in your second at all. If that was taken into account I would be way over the 31%. Wish you luck with your mod.

Also on june 1st when i made my payment i did it adding a few more dollars. When I talked to a rep before i made july payment they told me to make the exact trial payment no more or less. Due to they might no modify it if they see extra money. So when i made july's payment it was to the penny of my trial mod amount. |

April, I was told the same thing, make only the requested trial payment and no more or they might not do the mod. How did you make your payment? I was going to Western union mine but they said I can now do a phone payment since my paperwork does not say it has to be certified funds or western union. I am actually planning on making my payment today as soon as I get to work. Also, last question, are payments still showing as Forbearance/Suspence? |

I usually pay online but they said they would be afraid it would not be credited properly if I did that so she recommended I pay directly through them... |
