ok maybe you guys/girls can help me out with some advice here? I do qualify for some the stimulus package from the government. That is what the representetive on the phone said anyways. My payments are current and I have not missed a payment yet. My wife lost her job and i am certian that my days here(work) are comming to an end as well. I called WF and the told me that a negotiator has been assigned to my case. Where should I go from here or what should i prepare my self for? any advice would be helpful! Thanks in advance!

You would need to follow up with Wells Fargo at least once a week for updates on your file.............since you were already assigned a specific person..........try to get a direct extension to continue your follow up that way..........

What Phone number did you use to contact Wells Fargo? I too am current on my payment and have been trying to get a case open and I'm not sure that I'm getting anywhere. They haven't gone as far as to say that I have been assigned a negotiator. I asked them if I would receive any documentation to fill out to apply for the Making Home Affordable plan they just tell me to Fax in my info. Have you already Faxed in your Hardship Letter and stated your debt and income paperwork?
