In July I was put on a repayment plan with Litton, however the new payment amount was so high we are having a extremly difficult time making ends meet. So after finding your site and doing some research I again reached out to Litton and asked about a Loan Mod. They told me the documents I need to fax, which I did. I followed up with phone calls every 2-3 weeks to check the status, each time I was told it was being processed. Well in December, I called again to check the status and was told my paperwork was never forwarded from customer service to the loss midigation department and I would have to start the process over, which I did....and so the 60-90 clock reset....and again I waited and called and waited and called....again being told it was being process and they reassured me that the paperwork was recieved in the correct department this time....so 60 days passed last Friday and I called to check the status. Now I being told that it is still being processed however all of there loan modificaitons are being put on hold pending the release of the new government guidelines. Which by the way are posted on their website. My question is has anyone else been told this, and is there something else I should be doing. I have kept a detailed list of every call that I have made who I spoke with, first name and last and their respones to my questions, which is always vague at best. |

From what I've heard, this is a good method to get some results if you are spinning your tires. Please let us know your results and good luck O.k..............the reason why I was asking is because I can direct you on how to bypass the runaround and at least have a better chance on getting answers on the modification............... What you can do to get some movement is to put your hardship letter into the body of an email, along with your loan number and your contact info and send it to each of the email addresses below..........the responses come fairly quickly, but since it is the weekend you might want to give it until Tues. or Wed. Then follow up with a call directly to the ERT. One other thing I did get a auto reply from all of the C-Bass email addresses stating that they are no longer using the C-Bass extentions hopefully my email still reaches the correct individuals. |

I had followed up with Litton, they said nothing happening until 04/01 because they were reviewing Obama program. Received the same letter you did about additional info, but I was told it would only take 30-45 days (?? maybe because it was NACA?). My guess is that they will initially be buried, if they did no modifications for a whole month...wouldn't care but my sherriff sale date is 06/16...keep posting and let us know your progress... |
