IT seems to take quite awhile to get posts moderated and approved. I think mine is pending after the confusing sigh up. You don't need to do via facebook, or Twitter there is a direct option but its confusing.

Richard, just wanted to say thanks for finding us here and for your time and effort in the article. It was great and I hope that the gravity of this situation is seen by someone there in Congress that actually has the backbone to stand up and do something about it instead of worrying about the next election and where their ass will be. If they keep it up, they'll be looking for a new home as well.

This is the exact attitude that is being perpetuated in the media and across the country. It is the ignorace of people such as this dnpvd51 that makes the assumption that anyone that is in need of help from their mortgage was because the were reckless.

Congress has been reckless for many many years and the bankers that are in their pockets and vice versa have been equally as reckless. But yet it is those of us here have are the ones to blame. Last time I check unemployment was over 9% nationally and where I live it's 11.5% - Last time I checked, when I bought this money pit I could afford it because my income was there to sustain it and now it's not so that's my fault? It's my fault that I can't find a second job to help supplement my full time one? It's my husband's fault, because again this year he will not receive a raise even though he has worked his ass off for one? It's my fault that the economy tanked because the greedy bastards on wall street and the career butt raping politicians lined their pockets all the while knowing that this was going to blow up? This is my fault?

Hell yeah, and I'm responsible for the war in Iraq, Afgainstan and I think I had a part in the assasination of Kennedy as well but I'm gonna have to check my flight records.

Also, BobandArlyn, I'd be curious to know who your lender/servicer is as we got the same the e-mail crap you did. They just don't want it in writing, but I'd still like to know who it is.

I'm actually amazed (and depressed) that twitter can be filled with green avatars (millions) for Iran, 40,000 people join a FB group based on a rumor that they might be charged and an article about Americans losing their homes to banks gets 25 comments?

Capitalism is great until it happens to you.
