Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Reps from loansafe needed for all states! Okay, team, we have had our first group chat. The idea was born when we heard about the President's fundraiser, tonight, so here it is. We wish to have a representative from each state volunteer to send out invitations (we will provide the wording so that they are consistent) to elected officials from that state. The invitation will be to a fund-raising dinner, for loansafe.org homeowners at risk for losing their homes. The dinner can be at your home or wherever you choose as the Rep from that state. Proceeds will go to a non-profit organization for loansafe homeowners (I am currently investigating and would appreciate input sent to junior.erin@gmail.com). The funds will be used for loansafe initiatives as agreed by the Representatives. Majority rules. If we receive any takers on the invitations. More-over, these will all be sent at the same time to elected officials, and we will notify the press by our normal means. This will demonstrate our committment to helping homeowners as a whole. We have senior members of this forum involved and are committed to the initiative of saving the American Dream of owning a home; we are also committed to continuing to expose, on a LARGE scale, the crimes that are being consistently committed against homeowners. Together we can effectively impact every individual on this forum. So, please volunteer, through this thread, to represent your state. At this point, the above actions are all that we are asking. If you have the time and heart for it, we will do everything that we can to assist you. We would like to have another group chat meeting this weekend, early in the day so that we get our friends from the East coast involved. Look forward to hearing from you. junior.erin@gmail.com AZOwner

I live in a very rural agricultural community (total town population 8), our closest large city is 150 miles away, the odds that I could set anything up for a fund raiser dinner that anyone would attend etc would be slim to none due to the distances folks would have to travel. I would volunteer to send out mailings. While Montana is a very large state, we are very unpopulated. Checking on the Recontrust site there are only 488 forclosure sales scheduled, but that does not account for the other lending institutions who gave out mortgages. I have an office staff that I could donate for a few of hours per week for duties such as mailings and I would be willing to have them answer phone calls using a specified extension to field questions etc. If this helps at all you've got it! Wish I could do more on a personal level, but...... |

The invitations make a statement in and of themselves. No one may take us up on our offers, but we are going to send the invitations and we are going to tell every media outlet possible about them. Please get a gmail account, and email junion.erin@gmail.com. I will send you the minutes from our first chat and we will schedule another this weekend. WE ARE GOING TO GET THIS DONE! If you are reading this thread, please join us in our effort to start mass campaigns on behalf of loansafe.org members. All ideas and input are welcome. Together we can make the difference to help ourselves, and our fellow members. Thanks.

I would question whether we should allow more than one representative from a large state like CA. We have many large cities that should be considered for fundraisers and we also have multiple senior members. I can contribute some of my time but I'm concerned that this role requires more bodies for the task to be done well in CA. I know it is early and others have not seen the thread as yet. We could also consider it as 'co-representatives' that would deal with states like mine, in case there is concern on 'voting' issues. I'm obviously pretty good at writing. I'll do what I can to help. I do not have experience in the social etiquette for things like invitations. But I can sure write whatever you want written and LEARN the etiquette too.

You all tell me what you are willing to contribute. I know we are all very busy (I have 3 children, a husband that just had his gall-bladder removed, a mom with a fractured hip, and I am fighting the good fight with BofA); the only way to make a dent is together. Let's Do This!

For larger states like CA and TX I would think that we should divide up the state into 8 regions (like Caltrans has done for oversize permits);have 3-4 reps in EVERY major city and possibly a few in the more outlying areas of the regions, coordinate the city and outlying area reps under the regional reps and then under one State Rep. This may work for all states with a few exceptions like MT, ND, SD, AK This way no one has too big of a plate and would not need to make this a full time job (as we all have one already). Just a thought |

So-cal-gal and I are about 14 hrs drive away from each other. Like montana says, we could also use central coast and inland area reps. We are a BIG state. I'll get my gmail account in a few and e-mail AZ. |

We need Moe to make a sticky or even better yet some type of banner for people to click on and at least visit our thread. Not everyone visits the B of A forums. The forums have gotten a bit stagnant as of recently. Perhaps Moe could generate an email for us to ALL loansafe members. What we are doing is for EVERY homeowner and it does not matter who the lender is. I don't really know how many members loansafe has and who knows how many "guests" visit every day. Folks cannot join us unless they know about what we are looking to do. Imagine what could happen if every loansafe member sent 1 letter, email, made a phone call to someone else who needed help to join in the battle....how many bodies would that make? |

I'd like to suggest something, you may wish to get in touch with an internet "brodcaster(s)" and see what could come out of this. We're starting small but at some point David did whip Golieth. I've have one internet station in mind possibly two, but I don't want to mention the addys or links here. If interested let me know. At one point we were able to send PMs on the forum, I'm guessing that feature was removed for security reasons or, I could be at a loss as to all the changes made to include my ability in contacting members via the forum. BTW, Short Note to Moe, you made reference to something you recently found out re: B of A, David Frahm and noted that you would post it to the forum.....not trying to bust your ###$ here, did you post it or did I miss it? Going to the forum archives, appointment with the attorney on Friday. Take care all, I'll keep you informed from my end as well as offering a suggestion or two that may help. Gary |

Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | We are going to WIN the WAR Thank you, all, for the great ideas! I have made note of them. I will send Moe and Evan an email today and see if they will let me work with the webmaster of loansafe. I will copy everyone that has responded to our post and volunteered. Gary, I need you to email me, and please reference your loansafe name. With regard to the number of representatives from each state. The more the better. The more folks on a team, the lighter the weight, and, make no mistake, we need this to be a huge initiative so that we can pull the weight necessary to make a difference to every American homeowner in the US. Keeping that end goal in mind, we will all individually win this war. bloominga is working on wording for the invitations, and we hope that she will email the options this morning. I will share the email addresses of those that jumped on-board so that everyone can provide feedback and express their preference. We will then post the invite on this forum. We still have many states to cover, so if you are reading this thread, help us take action, email me: junior.erin@gmail.com . I am so looking forward to working with you ALL. Let's do this thing! AZ

I am an industry pro as well as a single mom fighting my battles. This is my calling guys, read my post about the financial Rape of America. I am also creating a legal fund and need help with that. We need attorneys and experts to help us fight in the trenches. Also I have been successful in applying the law in numerous ways to consternate the lenders. We can make it so even if they do foreclose the bank will have to pay thousands and will not be able to get possession! In CA if this is done properly the owner can stay many months and a tenant over a year. let me know if anyone in the bay area wants to band together |

I have been reading as much as I can to get caught up, but really busy at work today. This of course is my favorite thread. It was nice to get away from modification hell for a week. It will all start up again tonight when I can get caught up. Doctors say my dad has about 30 days left. Possibly 3 months. I have learned that the things I thought were important are not. I am looking at life with a different perspective now. Anxious to get caught up and put my boots back on. I hope everyone has been well the past week and please remember "this too shall pass." |

If you DO a "sticky" update what states/regions are represented. That would be helpful!

I am so sorry to hear about your dad, I cannot stand the thought of losing mine. I hope that you will find the peace in your heart to know that he will never leave you. You have so many here that love you and worry over you. Anything that you need. TB - I love the Twitter idea, but need some coaching, and so glad to have you in the action group. We are committed to making a difference, together. All, it has been a very humbling day, hasn't it? As I said in Moe's I Quit post, I am here and will stay with you, contributing what I can -- even if it's how we can all chat about our affirmative actions on behalf of the people we live next door to, our children, our grandchildren, and ourselves. Keep you chins up. I know we have drafts of invitations for our "houseparties" as Dave called them (he's a love); but I had a bit of trouble retrieving them, so please expect the email tomorrow night. God's speed, sweet dreams, keep the faith.

Quick feedback/suggestions. This is short, simple to understand, and to the point. Cynthia - we can use a non-profit to deposit funds, if anyone should take us up on our offer. The question as to our ability to use the loansafe logo is still outstanding, I hope to talk to Moe this morning about this. None the less, let us agree to this format and verbiage. I love it Bloominga, thank you so much for your time and efforts, next blasting it out to our elected officals and news media. If you all want to prepare for this in advance, please do. If you do not know your elected local and state officals phone numbers, faxes, and emails, please start your research today, compile a list that you can share with others. Invite treasury officals, invite the president, invite anyone and everyone you wish. Your local bank loan officer. . . . Look on the Contact List thread and gather your info there -- then build on it. Love to all -- LETS DO THIS THING You are invited…ffice to join our family for a fund-raising dinner. We request contributions of $15,000. per plate to attend. Contributions will be used to help Loansafe.org homeowners at risk of losing their homes. Each day the American Dream of home ownership is being destroyed. Each day millions of our friends and neighbors’ dreams are turning into nightmares as homes are being stolen and families left homeless. As an elected official, we offer this opportunity to show your constituents that the only reason to be in public office is to support the issues that are brought to your attention. The crimes that are being consistently committed against homeowners must be exposed. We will not be stifled until we have won this war. Since your schedule is most likely put together months in advance, the date and time can remain open until arrangements can be made with you as to availability. Someone will contact you in a few days to confirm your availability and verify final details. We look forward to meeting you. Sincerely, [Name of member]

I am still getting over my illness and still feeling weak and foggy today. I hope to be better soon and contribute more when I am back to normal. Thank you AZ for taking the initiative here. I will not be online much today again... my fingers still feel kind of numb and my mother's been watching my two little ones for the last two days so I am going to spend some one on one time with them today. They really need my undivided attention right now. Please let me know what I can do to help out. It is hard for me to take on large tasks since my husband is gone most of the week and that leaves me alone to care for two young ones (2 and 4). I will do what I can though. Please keep me in the loop! |

Will be on the road for the next 2-3 weeks, but I can still help with the organizational aspects of this endeavor. Not much I can do during the day, but if we can get state reps set up so that everything is not mass chaos and figure out what these reps can and can't do that will be a big plus. I realize that there are only 11 or 12 stepping up to the plate right now and that we need a lot more, but it is a start. While CA is a large state with possibly the most need for help, but we cannot forget the overall mission is help for homeowners across the US. Let me know what I can do! |
