Do you know who ABC says these theives are? Not the banks. Its you or me or anyone who is foreclosed on and takes fixtures from the home. The FBI is watching Craigslist and going after people who have recently been foreclosed on and who are selling house items on ebay. They warned the viewers that these "foreclosure thieves" are not only hurting the house, but bringing property values down. and "now, because of these theives, the property which used to value $250,000 is now valued at $69,000". I Quoted that. Nothing said about most of the value decline being about the current economy. Nothing said about the frustration that might have caused the former homeowners to take the items. Granted, some of these people went way overboard - taking ceiling and floor materials, all the kitchen counters, and not leaving anything in their place. Be careful. If you are foreclosed on and added upgraded stuff, if you feel like taking it, be sure to leave something in its place and don't sell the good stuff on ebay! But what really rubs me is the foreclosure thieves are the banks. Not us!!! G.D it. What do we have to do to be heard! |

Might be a good idea for a bombardment to ABC today? I don't know.... maybe suggest that they include some useful information about the possibility of that homeowner being given an opportunity to stay in their home. How about an inside story on that homeowner. Could it possibly be that homeowner was in the stages of a loan modification and the bank failed to give him one? No... that couldn't be it, could it? |
