VIENNA, Va. -- MERS (Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems) announced today that it has asked its members to temporarily cease foreclosure actions in the name of MERS in Florida pending an appeal of an adverse ruling in the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court in Pinellas County.
