I called WF & the attorney to make sure that the sale did in fact happen (it did), and still we've not had any notices on our door, nothing in the mail, haven't been served, no phone calls. How long does it usually take for them to let you know you no longer own your house? Wouldn't care except I was really hoping for a cash-for-keys offer! |

I had a visit from Realtor on Thursday, offering cash for keys $1,000 to move by the 31st of this month. There is now way after 19 years in home I could move so fast. Received letter from an attorney today representing the bank stating they are preparing a "Notice for Possession" to obtain possession of the property. The Realtor told me the bank is willing to negotiate. |

The bank is willing to negotiate the cash for keys, I need 90 days to save money for move (I paid my Oct. trial mod). Also, my niece lives in a cottage on my property, at this point I have to think like the big banks, I am trying to use every loophole I can find, she is covered under the tenants act, and they will find out so is my daughter. |

I expected something like what you described, but so far nothing. Apparently they're not in any hurry to have us out of this house. We're moving anyway, but you know - why are they in such a hurry to foreclose if then they don't even care if you live in the house. Heck, I'd have done this a long time ago if I knew I could just live here rent free indefinitely! |

I know that in MD they need to list the notice of sale a few times in the paper before it is final in case anyone objects, or the audit shows there was something in place at the ime of sale. Maybe they are waiting for this time period to pass before they do anything. |

They didn't get it done in time for Sept., so it was postponed until October. They did run the ads & it WAS auctioned on 10/6. Just wondering how long it will take for someone to let us know we need to move out. I think it's really just a case of them being overwhelmed with these foreclosures. Nobody, at least at Wells Fargo, can keep their ducks in a row!! |

I would contact the housing counselors listed in HUD, they would probably be best at knowing. I tried looking up GA information, but have not been getting very far yet. |

Seems like they'd still be trying to get their act together to get you out of the house, you know? Who knows, basically nothing surprises me any more. You're w/ WF too, right? What a joke! |

I looked at some GA information for you, but it seems everyone has something diferent to say. I was a concensus though that if it was a judicial sale you should be notified about 5 days after. When I first began this journey they had begun setting up the foreclosure with a sale date that was before my first "forebearnace" payment was due. I think their "factory attorney's" have no clue as to what is being done on the modification end. They just have piles, and dates for submission. |

That same thing happened to us - twice - and we decided to stop making the mod payments the 2nd go round for fear we would be foreclosed on no matter what we did. For us it was an easier decision than most, since we had somewhere to go - we got tired of being yanked around. So, 5 days. That's about what I thought - the sale was on Tuesday, & I really expected we would've been served by the sheriff (or something) at least by that weekend. But nothing. My main concern is getting some cash for my keys - I will probably call the attorney's office this week to see how they would like to arrange that. It'll be interesting to hear what they have to say! |

It didn't happen, and I still have heard nothing, except a letter their lawyer wrote in response to the judge saying it was not rescheduled. I would definitely get an accounting of your mortgage to make sure all payments are credited mine were always placed in a "suspense account". They did not deduct the 7000.00 I had in it as part of the foreclosure amount. Part of my complaint to the OCC was for charges for the foreclosure attorney. I was on a plan and they had no reason to start it before the plan even began, so I want those charges reimbursed to my account. Since it well over a year, I don't plan on hearing from them any too quickly either |

I would be interested to see how the payments I made were applied since I haven't received a mortgage statement since who knows when! |

You haven't been getting statements either...how weird is that? You know that the modification department can ne backed up, but the billing? When it come to the accounting I know that prior to foreclosure you can send a "Qualified Written Request", I'm not sure about after. There is probably someone in this forum who could better tell you...maybe Moe.I got mine because I was questioning their accounting through my state. I got what they sent the state. |

Which I think would be FHA, since this is an FHA loan & they will be paying Wells Fargo. Here's the great part - they only have 30 days after the sale to file a claim for a judgment, and well, 2 weeks are (almost) gone & they haven't even sent me notice of eviction, etc.! Hope my ****iness doesn't bite me, but I just can't see them getting everything in order to file for this judgment. |

You should look on your state law website about deficiencies etc. At least you can have a little head up on what they will be trying for. |
