Now is that considered foreclosure? I am in my redemption period of 6 months, house has been listed for 6 months, going for short sale but doesnt look good. Now is the house legally citi's or mine? I havent heard a word from them. Cash for keys still option? thanks |

You have 6 months to redeem and pay the total amount balance of the loan. I still negotiated a Citi to pay all past due payment and fees and undo the sheriffs sale and had the judge sign a concellation of the foreclosure and sale. They still messed this up. Check out my thread Settlement request for Citimortgage. Cash for keys may be an option if they want physical pocession sooner. It may be not worth the time required to comunicate with citi to gain some cash. Last edited by fastclr; 09-19-2009 at 01:40 PM.. Reason: typo |
