Unhappy Option one has been sloppy

I have been working with option one since july of 2007 to try and work with us on my home loan. I have been sending option one all the required documentation and I always get different responsed from them. They tell me certain documents are missing, so I send what is needed. Over and over again. The foreclosure process started in nov of 2007. I am running out of time. I had major spine surgery in september and this home stuff is taking a toll on my health. I have had deppression, insomnia and have been sick to my stomache at the way option one is dealing with us in a negligent manner. Just called yesterday to ask the statis of the loan mod and they told me we were denied because they put my income only down and did not include my husbands income. Should I just give up?

Sorry to hear this. Did you get a negotiator? Other than not being able to get a hold of mine as often as I'd like, and him calling me at random times, he has been the only person I have dealt with once he was assigned. From what he says it really is up to the investors. Not sure what exactly influences their decisions though. Good luck whatever you do.

Re: Option one has been sloppy

Option One....ick! I have Option One as well. They are difficult to deal with and hard to get a hold of. HOWEVER, DO NOT GIVE UP!!!! CALL THEM EVERYDAY IF YOU HAVE TO....Sorry for yelling, but it can be done. You have to be persistent and work on it every day. Write a QWR requesting your loan docs and loan history. Make them work for you. If you need anything feel free to ask, I'll do what I can to help. My loan does not adjust until August so I cannot apply for the modification but I have submitted my QWR and we'll see what happens with that.

You are in the right place and in very good hands! Just DO NOT GIVE UP! We're all here to help. Good luck and God bless.

Don't give up! Mail it certified mail and while your at it, mail a qualified written request that details your problems with them. In this letter you should also ask that they document every penny and fee that is being charged to you while you are in foreclosure and to answer why they are losing all your paperwork.

In this same letter, will be all the paperwork they are requesting. Now send that letter to no less than 3 separate employees or executives at Option One. Then fax that same letter and email it till your blue in the face and they respond.

If that does not work, get a lawyer fast.
