I hope it is for real and it spreads to other states. |

Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Re: Oregon Foreclosure Laws(new) and Major Event in medford Well, I know our Senator Jeff Merkley who is newly elected is pushing for alot of reform and was also pushing for the BK cram down since we have a very high foreclosure rate (weve dropped to #11 in the country from #2). It is starting to increase rapidly now in Idaho I heard today on NPR. I think this may be a bit weak this bill because they can make up all the laws they want, it still comes down to accountability. The lenders can always say they met or talked to you. It doesnt mean they offered you anything that actually worked for you, or that they would even modify your loan. Im skeptical. I havent heard anyone mention yet who lives in Oregon that they have received this required notification from their lender. |
