I received the notice from the title insurance company that will be assisting the mortgage servicer in foreclosure proceedings. The letter states that under Federal law, I have the right to dispute the validity of the debt within 30 days from the date I received this notice.
Does someone have a template that I can use to request this information?
Also, I would like to request that they provide proof of the note holder and the deed of trust including all transfers and assignees.
I am hoping that someone has already written these letters and that I can just copy and paste it into a letter and mail it off to them.
I am in need of more time to move and looking to delay the auction for at least 30 days and hoping that requesting this information will slow them down/delay the auction a bit.
