Question Foreclosure in georgia-wells fargo lied~!!

i have been in communications with wells fargo and have spent the last 6 weeks faxing documents to do a repayment plan or forbearance agreement. We had a rental home that we we in the process of re-wiring. Both
AC units were stolen, wires cut and pipe cut out. City made us re-wire before we got a tenant in. Wells Fargo has done 4 financial workout plans with me only to get a denial letter each time for the HAMP. They knew this was rental property and would not go HAMP. The latest is they were going to postpone the foreclosure to do the workout plan. On the 3rd they foreclosed. I went to the property today only to find a realtor sign in the yard and all of oiur belongings GONE. They took 3 days to get over there and wipe the place out. It is obvious that Wells Fargo never had any intentions of working out anything...Do we have any recourse in regaining our belongings? There is no redemption period in Georgia. This has been a nightmare!

    dburdett,

I am so sorry that this has happened to you. You may want to try calling the realtor from the sign as they are most likely the agent assigned to the property by the bank and may know the company that came to clean the house out. Unfortunately though it may be too late.
    Best Regards,

6 weeks is fast! I faxed and faxed and faxed WF for about 6 months before they finally foreclosed on our property. Every communication with them was like the first and they would ask us to re-fax the information again. It really was ridiculous and I could go on and on with our experience. fficeffice" />>>

The short of it is exactly like you stated in your heading, WF lied. And they will continue to deceive their former customers if they can make any money out of it. that’s just what they do.

Hope you get your belongings back and I am real sorry to hear they screwed you. Please post back with an update and let us know what happened.
