We are working with Greg's office for a modification and will hopefully have something in place in the next few weeks. I still need to answer this so I don't lose my ability to fight the foreclosure if the modification is denied. I have a call into a couple of attorneys but I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can respond to this summons on my own (if possible). The court was no help and told me to go to the law library. I haven't been able to find any samples online. My audit revealed several TILA and RESPA violations. Thanks in advance for any help!!! |

I sure would love to know what the answer is since my circumstances with one lender are similar. Here Countrywide is willing to attempt a loan mod, but I've gotten nowhere as yet with Litton. However, we were served foreclosure papers from Litton's underwriter's yesterday and have 20 days to seek legal counsel (with what funds might I ask) and respond. Oy vey!!!! Dee |
