Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | I received a notice of default today and I noticed the loan number on the notice if from Homecomings, however I recently went to county records and pulled copies of our trust deed and it is a totally different lender. What should we do? |

If you want to challenge this notice of default, you may want to speak to an attorney about a defense based on if they are truly the "legal" note holder. Otherwise, this is very common because loans are sold and transferred quite often.

They used what was on the original recording. My loan was sold three months later. I know in CA there isn't a FC hearing. Should I inform the company handling it that they do not have the correct owner? If so, should I wait a month or so so that they have to re-file and I will then have three more months? |
