Is some one supposed to notify me when my loan is purchased

Help....
I refinanced around sept 2007, CW purchased my note right away I think like the next month, at that tiime I had very good credit and had successfully paid off several notes.

Like so many others I had a business fail due to the trickle down of the ecomomy, but still managed to stay current until Dec 2008. Then I fell behind and recieved a notice of intent to accelerate. I called and sent some payments. On May 1 09 I sent a payment and had it returned on Bof A letterhead saying it was not enough. I called right away and found that BOA has the loan and they had put it in forclosure. (5) payments due. Meanwhle there is another check I sent 5-15-09 still not returned or processed.

I guess I am just starting the journey but my questions are 1) shouldnt I have been notified when BofA purchased the loan. Now the total due is (5) payments plus about 4500 in foreclosure fees. I can just about clear the arrears but cant handle the foreclosure fees.
2) should I send a qualified written request in with my hardship letter?

Any one with insight would be appreciated.

BTW we have been in this home for 8 years and I just got employement that will cover my payments

In addition to the last post, I was told by my loan negotiater not to send any payments, since they were going to process a mod request. Just put my payment money aside......

This just does not seem right since I am within a few hundred dollars of covering all arrears ($7,500.00) Is this just a play to add up more foreclosure fees, they added on 1k from the first time I requested a bring current amount(6-8-09) until I called next week (6-15-09)and got a faxed amount in.
