Looking for something else entirely, of course, I happened across a non-govt. site that has links to "Making Home Affordable Official Forms." In pdf form you can actually type in instead of having to scrawl longhand.
I've spent hours going through the Wells Fargo site, Freddie Mac, Treasury, etc. and I have never come across these before. Might have been helpful when I was trying to figure out what format the "hardship letter" needed to be in. I tried a memo, a regular business letter and filling out a form modified from a section of WF site geared to reinstatements for people behind on mortgages.
