Chase Mod advise

Hello:
I hope i can get some advise from all of you.
I start Mod back in July was granted one for 3 months was told then that i will get permanent docs. Well they never arrived kept making payments 4th 5th was told again i will get perm docs soon nothing. Then to my surprise on Dec 17 was told i have been denied.
Talk to hpo and was advise to reapply which i did. I have follow up making sure they have all paperwork from me and they do. My home has a date of sale now for 02-02-2010.What can i do??
I now that is easier to walk away in my situation i owe over 1mil on this house
is worth in a good day maybe 600k.Now i did build this house from the ground up.
WHAT CAN I DO I WANT TO KEEP MY HOUSE..

did you get your trial mod on a verbal? Any applications in writing submitted? If so, what ? Which lender? Do you more than one note on the property? If so, you might be able to strip 2nd in Chapter 13 BK. Need more info on income,etc to make suggestions on how to proceed with mod.

Im not sure how they have gotten a sale date so quickly...may be the state you are in.

I suggest talking to a BK attorney. Filing BK could stall the sale and buy you time.
