Unfortunately when a loan transfers there should be a recordation of the assignment of the security document (mortgage / deed of trust) but that just isn't done most of the time. You could sue them and then get it through the discovery process. But, given the nature of "collateralized debt obligations" (google it), it is simply impossible sometimes to figure out who the holder(s) are. Daniel |

After two months of being in the queue, we were told ooops, this is not Chase it's a 'private investor' and we have to start over with them. And that's just the first, don't get me started on the second, also supposedly with Chase. We're in the 'don't call us, we'll call you stage.' Still clinging to some belief that we should protect our credit at all costs. We're in our 50s and never did I believe I would have to start over at 57, no home, no equity, bad credit. Last Monday I took a job I was so grateful to get, $10 an hour, 4 hours a day. It's like getting sucker punched every day. |
