Bankruptsy????

Hello all!
I've had it. I've been fighting for nearly 2 years. I've contacted every congressman, State Attorney General, Senator, VP, CEO, Non-Profit I can think of, and am on my 3rd negotiator with AHMSI.... My lender CitiGroup, they say, will still not work with me- even though I still have a job, and can afford my house at a lower intrest rate... They just plain wont do it...
It's super awesome Citi gets their billions in bailout- but doesnt do SQUAT for the people struggling, jumping through their servicer hoops, and going to extremes just to avoid being ********....
My question is this to anyone who knows..... My credit is shot. I mean SHOT. Sheriff's sale has been set for March 23. My negotiator is still "crossing his fingers" Citi pulls their heads outta their butts and decides to help people....yeah right.

If I file for bankruptsy- what happens? Beisides it goes on my credit (it's either that or foreclosure- either way I dont care which)... Do I get to keep my house if I file?

BK may stall the process and allow you some "free" time in the home.
