Home Owners Insurance

Good Morning group.....I have found this site incredibly helpful and have an additional question. I pulled my credit report and my mortgage was included in my bankruptcy and shows a balance of $0. I have found a rental and will be moving March 1st. I'm wondering if I can cancel my home owners insurance and just get renters insurance now? Any advice would be great. One more bit of info...I'm in Minnesota.

Thanks!

Re: Home Owners Insurance

How is your homeowners insurance paid? (annually, monthly, by way of an impound account, etc.)
