The only questions I have are about whether or not someone can come after me for a deficiency which I believe is no, but I would like some sort of legal expert to look at it just in case. Fear of the unknown. |

Basically both will review docs, do a forenisic search to see if they can find predatory lending or something similar to use to your advanatage during negotiations, provide loan mod services, stop collection calls, and give you timeline of your stay. Basically you pay a fee and they take care of the rest. The company charges about $995 and this lawyer here I believe charges $2995. So a $2K difference, but I believe this website is a bit more reliable and that company is more of a businessman with a smart idea. I've researched both and will end up picking one but haven't decided yet. |

The advantage of educating yourself here is there is no cost and the potential that you may be in a better position to provide an effective summary of your situation to the attorney in a manner that pointedly identifies the issues and the advice you seek, thus reducing a wasted expenditure of time.
