Question NC courthouse steps sale/my future

Home in NC with a mortgage (small), and an equity loan (large) both by Wells Fargo. This is titled to myself and an ex husband (he is the primary). The property has a hearing for foreclosure then a date to be sold on the court house steps, Cherokee Counnty, Murphy NC by the mortgage holder on Feb 7th. That will still leave the equity loan. Nobody has been living in the home for the past 14 months (since just before it was scheduled to be sold last year in January) and was voluntarily I have no interest is keeping the property and do not have the money to pay it off. I am on fair terms with my ex husband who has less than I do. I am a registered nurse and make a fair pay. The only thing I would like to accomplish is to have my future free of this. If it could be settled somehow...bankruptcy, payment plan, I don't care. Preserving credit (which used to be excellent) is a dead issue at this point. I read here to wait for contact from them with an offer. I am not sure if I have missed it or if that may still come at this late stage.
