What should we do?

We just got the "notice of default and election to sell under deed of trust" papers by certified mail.

What should we do to speed up the process on the forclosure? We want this process to be over with and get on with our lifes! Is there anything we can do to spped it up?

I'm not sure as to what you can do to speed up the process since there is a procedure that the lender must take..I would suggest to just call in and let them know you have no intentions on staying in the property and are going to let it go into foreclosure...

Re: What should we do?

legally the bank can not foreclose in less than 120 days. Have you considered short sale? If not, you may as well stay rent free for a few months.
