I recently just submitted a offer that was low by the buyer. I have not been assigned a negotiator yet. The bank will only deal with one offer. I need to resubmit (which i have not done ) the current PA because they won't accept the conteroffer addenum with the PA. My agent now tells me we have another offer that came in at our asking price and not $20,000 less like the one that i just submitted. I had put in addendum to the PA that the house shall remain on the market until the bank has given approval. My agent says I need to wait to have the negotiator call me and then we can try and let the current buyer know we have a higher offer and they need to come up in there price. Can I just resubmit the higher offer? What liabilities do I have to the buyer and the current PA? Can someone explain how one would go about dealing with the situation. I feel that my agent is somewhat leading me into taking the lower offer that has been submitted and negotiate a higher price. I am rather confused and looking for some sound advice. Thanks for your help!! Chuck |
