Sucks that I got my NOD from my 2nd only after 50 days of late payment......Should I say you guys are "lucky" to have not gotten your NOD's yet, Enjoy it while you guys can free rent! I hope I can stay at least 6-9 mos.. 1 year would be great! I know of a lot of people personally (friends, cousins, uncles, and in laws) who have stopped their payment from their house since last year and are still living in their house today. One of my friend actually got an eviction letter and moved out 2 weeks ago... But he had almost 14 mos of free rent!

last payment: May 09

July 25th, received Intent to Accelerate letter dated July 21st via certified mail with August 20th as the last date to pay the late payments before they start the foreclosure process. I guess August 20th is when they will fine the NOD? Seems to be working just a few weeks ahead of the schedules posted in the foreclosure are of this forum.

Well, mine went fairly quick. Not alot of phone calls.. nw just will deal with my 2nd which is a full recourse HELOC

Received Notice of Intent to Accelerate with a 8/20/09 dure date deadline. We shall see how long it takes after 8/20 before they file the NOD. One year plus of missed payments. WOW!

August will be my 6th month of no payments. A few months ago I told Chase that I have an attorney representing me and gave them the phone number to call. I'm planning BK Ch 7 and will surrender this house, my homestead. They quit calling so much, as a matter of fact today is the first time they called in several weeks. I don't answer the phone.

Mind elaborating on this? How has the process gone so far? I assume they've made contact with you by now? Have they filed an unlawful detainer or anything like that yet?

I contacted the bank's REO department directly. No one contacted my after the sale. They were only going to offer $1000 for "cash for keys" so I'm waiting for them to make another offer. I should find out today. No unlawful detainer was filed that I know.

They are allowed to file a notice of sale no sooner than 90 days after the NOD was filed. They can schedule the sale as soon as 21 days after the notice is filed.

We got ours last week and the sale is scheduled for... 21 days out. Go figure.

Update*

I will be leaving the house on the 31st and will be receiving $2000 cash for keys upon leaving it broom swept. Two real estate agents inspected the property today and brought over the bank's paperwork for me to sign.

I am in Florida and missed my first payment in April. We are with U.S.Bank and foreclosure was filed in August. I received the paperwork yesterday courtesy of a process server.

I am in Florida and missed my first payment in April. We are with U.S.Bank and foreclosure was filed in August. I received the paperwork yesterday courtesy of a process server.
