Has anyone settled with Suntrust Mortgage?

I have a 1st mortgage with Chase that was modified in Sept of 2011. My 2nd approximately 39,000 is with Suntrust and I have not paid on it since Dec 2010. Have not heard from them in quite some time. Thinking about testing the water to see if they might be ready to offer a settlement. Anyone have any success settling with Suntrust?

I have a first with Suntrust and it has been close to three years without paying. Supposedly my file is in a 30-day review before going to the investor, but it has been closer to 60 days in review. They are very disorganized and don't seem to want money even when you're able to pay. Good luck to you!

Someone sent from Suntrust just came to the door to ask to take pictures of our house. This is the second time they have done this. I am hoping they will now offer a settlement. We have many homes around us that have been foreclosed on so I don't think they will get any money if they try to foreclose. Besides my 1st with Chase was modified and is current. Should I be worried?
