    GCC (Global Credit Corp.) Anyone??

    Hi All,

Have been getting phone calls from GCC (Global Credit Corp.) more frequently these days(reaching the 180 day mark) and was wondering two things--

First, does anyone have experience with them? Do they go after you right away?

Second, if it is a bill collector, does it take longer for them to garnish wages, etc than if it was the credit card directly comming after you?

I believe they are the collectors for Cap 1 so they can probably verify the debt.
Should I ask them anyway. They are calling, not sending letters now.

    Any info appreciated.

    Thanks Josue

    Hello Josue!

I could not locate any discussions pertaining to this company on the forum. Maybe someone else will have some input for you.

In regards to collections and or garnishments, most of these collectors will work with you or try and after about 6 months if that fails, they will pursue legal means. 6 months seems to be standard. Give or take.

The best thing to do is hold your cards to your side, don't reveal much and confront your issues head on. It is best to tackle these issues rather than let them sit.

Good luck and please let us know how it goes with this GCC Company.
    Best Regards,
