Labeled subprime!!! OH NO

Reading my emails this morning to my surprize an offer from a credit card company. This in itself no big news ............... except this one said
SUBPRIME CREDIT NO PROBLEM
Webster is going to have to add subprime to the dictionary !!! Will we be forever subprime like we are defective !!!
I would have been making my payments pre LoanMod but CW told me not to or would not take partial payment ( had the money for pre can not afford it payment ) !!!
How do we fix this ??? I am going to start tomorrow with letter and emails to get no payment history removed and repaired !!! I have no idea how but something has to give !!!
First outrageous insurance premiums now this makes me feel like a looser all over again !!!

The good news sure don't have to worry about identity theft any time soon !!!

yea, welcome to the club. I've been a member for some time now. It's better this way, really, because there is no way you are going to be tempted to sign up for that $300 secured credit card with the $200 annual fee and the $100 1-time activation charge.

It all happened for me whan my loan servicer posted an entry on my credit report that showed my account included in a bankruptcy [not mine - some other borrower with a similar loan number], which was eventually removed. I haven't been able to shake it since. I don't know what it is - a solicitation list you get added to, maybe, but those great cheerful offers just keep on rolling in - even after several years.

I am subprime and I am proud. Embrace your subprimeness and be one with it.

Camoo; I have to agree with your thoughts on this. I am in that pool as well and so are celebrities and members of congress. I am honored to be in their circle.

seriously, though, you probably will have to wait your credit blips out. Hopefully CW will happily mod your loan and you already have all the credit cards you need.

It is probably bad form to complain about the credit ding until you have the mod finalized. You can always dispute it and add in your explanation to your report, but again, you'll probably want to wait until you have everything in writing, lest you get punted out of your current holding pattern and sent over to the credit report dispute department way across town somewhere.

That would be a tragedy. I have found that even the best servicer has a difficult time multi-tasking.
