The foreclosure was stopped. I was told to pay the new payment and the account should be updated in 90 days. After 90 days, no update and got monthly statements with the old payment but said if I had entered into an agreement to pay that, I called CW said they were behind in process the mods and to wait another 30 days. Meantime all of the payments were going into partial payments and they showing me six months behind on their web site. Waited another month and no update and then workout section had disappeared from their web site. So I called and was told they were still behind and they were having problems with their computer system but everything should be updated by Feb. So a couple weeks later, a guy shows and said he was home inspector for Countrywide....that scared me...since I still had not heard anything other than the little note on my monthly statement to pay "according to the agreement". I immediately called CW and they said that is normal to do the inspection for people who were behind to make sure they are still in the home and the home was in good shape. I told her I had a workout agreement and loan mod, she acknowledge that she did have a record of that but it was still in process, she said they are so backed up that some mods have taken six months. Today, when I went to check my account on the CW web site, I can't access my account details. In reading this forum, I saw that I should have received a something back from CW after I Fedex'ed the papers back. I did not. I have not received anything but a monthly statement with the old payment amount and a note on the from page saying to pay according to my agreement. I have been paying the new payment for six months now and I'm afraid something has gone wrong. Has anybody else had this kind of experience and should I be concerned, is there a way to find out what going on. |

I am hoping that this just means that the databases are being updated since it is a Sunday. I am going to check back in the morning. If it remains the same, they need to explain this status. |

Fax it to the VPs. Tell them in the letter you need their office to respond to you because you do NOT want to lose your home and you want some answers about your account. You do not want to be in foreclosure, tell them, so you must get verification that everything is ok. Also, I'd request new coupon booklets from them from this year. I never, ever use coupon booklets but if you have been paying the new amount for 6 months now they should have sent you coupon books this year with your new payment on them. |

I don't know of anyone that got a modifcation thru CW that got anything back from them once the signed modification was sent in. We didn't get anything back from CW, we got our modification with the services of the non-profit Naca but the actual docs came from CW and were returned to CW. The docs were sent back to countrywide in Jan, account has been updated and changed and we are all done, they did tell us originally it could take up to 90 days to process, but it only took 3 weeks for ours to be processed and closed. I would call the number that was sent with your mod docs, customer service, home retention, CW Executive team 1-800-405-0078, and keep calling everyone till you get some answers. good luck! |

Anyway, I made my monthly call to CW and was told that the mod is still being processed (again) and because the backlog it can take six months or more before it is completed. I was assured everything was fine and once everything is completed account details will be updated appropriately, my payments will be applied accordingly. I did find out they did pay my insurance from escrow so that one less worry. But until I see something with the loan modification and I get a statement with the new payment...I going to still concerned. |

Did you get paperwork from CW with the loan modification details that was to be fedexed back? And did you send it back? Yes, call NACA! |

I would call countrywide to make sure they received your paperwork and that there was no error on the paperwork. |

When i call Countrywide, they say it can take up to 90 days. The only problem with this, is they are still reporting me as late. I know show 180 days late...They are gonna have to fix that. I dont think thats right. |
