| My new CW adventure...continues I'll try to keep it simple but first I want to say "thank you" in advance for any and all advice you all can give. I lost my job in October. Only had wifes income as a teacher since then. Going back to work next week finally!!! Could not pay Nov., Dec., Jan., and Febuary. Fianlly was able to make one payment in Feb that was applied to November payment. Will be able to make payment end of Mar which will be applied to December I guess. We have a 8.65% subprime ARM and the payment is $2,548.00 per month. Was in line for the first loan mod program under the Attorneys General lawsuit Vs CW. CW claims they sent loan mod paperwork but we never received it. Have been trying to deal with them on another loan mod since January. Website says not to call before 2/09. So I call on 2/10 and there spoke to person who says no update until 3/09. I call back then and they say I need to send income documents again, so I do. Called back on 3/11 to see they iof they received them. Was told to call back Friday. So...this morning I go on the website to just check and see that my mod was cancelled yesterday(!!!!) for not sending the requested info. Called this morning and got India on the phone. I have very little confidence in this whole process now. Have planned to go to a NACA seminar on the 28th and may go down that road. Please...any advice would be helpful. I can't eat or sleep over this whole mess! Bad enough trying to play "catch up" with other bills but this process with CW is crazy. Is there a single person anywhere in the CW organization who I can talk to and have faith that we can assist me? Please..bring on the advice. Regards, Cobra |

| Re: CW is makingme go insane!!! Help Please!! Cobra, Glad you found the forum and posted. You can try this number and explaining the situation: CW home retention: CW Home Retention 1-800-669-0102 Contacting NACA at this point would be a great idea...you do not have to wait until the 28th. NACA:https://www.naca.com/refinance/refinanceSubmission.jsp Start your NACA process online.

| Re: CW is makingme go insane!!! Help Please!! cobra, to be honest, that is about immpossible until further in the process.....paperwork is being lost-passed on to different employees and depts, employees are being changed constantly..it is, basically, a mess. Eventually, it will be assigned to a specific negotiator. That is why , if youve been having so many problems up to this point, it is a good idea to contact NACA. Once they are working with you- keep contact with NACA only so as not to "muddy the waters" with individual contacts to CW.

| Are there any humans at Countrywide? I have been in loan mod process, then dropped because they can't find my income documents. Put back in the que, dropped again and so it goes! When you call you have to explain your story all over to a different person than before. Can anyone tell me how to actually talk to someone who can deal with my loan mod? Any humans at CW? I'm so frustrated I can hardly think! This whole mess has me totally consumed. Cobra |

| Re: CW is makingme go insane!!! Help Please!! If you are going thru countrywide directly make sure you are calling home retention 1-800-669-0102, you may want to call them again today and initiate the process once again prior to you starting the new job so as not to confuse the issue with the new income starting next week cause then your modification attempt is based on what you acutally make now and there won't be more delay waiting on the new paystubs and we all know new jobs don't always work out. the faxed documents ususally show up as docs recieved under workout status on your online account, this can take anywhere from 3-14 days to show up on your account, write your loan number on each page you send in big bold print across the top of each page you fax. If you decide to intiate the process with NACA, you can do an online submission and then set up a phone couseling session appointment with them when you are done with the submission, you can fax to Naca the docs they require and your authorization form once your finish the submission and it will make the Naca process go quicker. I quickly stepped off the Countrywide merry-go-round Oct 08 and went straight to Naca, we were able to get a successful Modification of our high rate sub-prime fixed loan down to a 6% fixed for the life of the loan all past due and escrow short rolled into the loan and our account is now current and payment is $1000 less a month, which came just in time as hubby just got 4th pay cut and I have yet to find work (laid off 6/08) the process took about 120 days total, 60 days for approval, another 30 days to get docs from CW ( lol, docs finally came 1/9/09 were actually dated 11/26/08) and another 30 days for CW to process mod and change account. While Naca is extremely busy and overwelmed as is everyone with this mess, at least they have a program, structure, process and do work as efficently as they can and do acutally care and try to help. Good Luck which ever path you take! |

| I keep faxing the requested documents to CW as requested. They never seem to be able to find them. Been sending them to 800-658-0395 (HOPE Team) and also to 800-658-9346. They keep canceling by mod because they say I did not fax the docs. I even have fax transmission reports, so I know they got them! Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks, Cobra |

| Re: CW is makingme go insane!!! Help Please!! cobra, they played that game with me as well. i faxed in docs 3 times and they said they never got it or call back after 48 hours (yet i only have 3 days) and then by the time they got it, they denied my mod because i was late. called back and another rep said he reopened my file. had a suspicion, called back and someone told me mod was cancelled. called back again, another rep said based on the financial, i was denied so i gave her "updated" financials so it's on cue waiting for approval again..basically, they are all over the board at cw and you just have to keep on calling (try to stay calm and sane though)..good luck |

| Re: CW is makingme go insane!!! Help Please!! Thanks Stressed. I appreciate your words. I am just afraid I'll get nailed because I'm 3 months behind now. I'm going back to work next week but the new income won't allow us to make up the payments we have missed. Maybe NACA would be a better option? Cobra |

| My new CW adventure...continues Out of work in October 08. Was in cue for AG loan mod then. Loan mod documents sent in late Dec. We never received. Went into another mod cue in Jan 09. Looked at status every day also. Website said check back 2/9/09. So I did...... Called on 2/11/09 and was told to send pay stubs, etc and I did. No change to status on website. Called again 3/9/09 and was asked to resend documents and AGAIN I did. Called again 3/10 to see if they could even tell me if they received them. Reply..."no" check back Friday. Looked on the website 3/11 and found loan mod canceled beacause I never sent documents!!!! I was put back into the cue 3/11 again and this morning (Friday) it shows I back in the "active processing" cue. Have not paid mortgage for Dec, Jan, Feb, but have a agreement to have a payment taken out of bank 3/27. Guess this apply to Dec. Fast forward.....got real serious after reading and "living" on this forum over the past few weeks and have decided to get off the CW merry-go-round. Filled out the papers for NACA yesterday and faxed some docs to them. Was on the phone waiting for a hour last night to talk to them. THEY AT LEAST COULD TELL ME THEY RECEIVED MY DOCUMENTS!!! Yea!!! Have a phone counsel interview next Thursday night at 8pm! HopefullyI'm making progress. So....CW needs to streamline their workflow and assign a live person to deal with their clients. They have made so much money off of us it's a real shame to be treated this way. But wait....I forgot. There HAS to be a corporate culture of wanting to help people. I'm sure there are some good people at CW. I just can't figure out how to reach them on the phone. And so it goes................We'll see. |

| Re: My new CW adventure...continues cobra when you are logged into Naca if you click on the homesave option at the top of page there is a bar there that says documentation submission click on that and then documents received button, it will list the date they got them and how many pages you sent (all my faxes are still showing there) Any documents that CW received (if they get them) should show up in the same place on CW website that you look at for workout status, but they only show there 60 days, all our docs sent to cw before going thru Naca are not showing anymore, just the mod docs and final workout docs show as received by CW. Good Luck with Naca |

| Re: My new CW adventure...continues Thanks Gray! Where are you in Florida? I'm over near the Kennedy Space Center. Yep...I checked NACA. My docs are there. On the CW site, where it says "workout"...There have never been any docs showing there. There is a red statement that says.."No documents found". Will keep checking. Cobra |

| Re: My new CW adventure...continues cobra, The site on CW is notorious for being behind and containing, at times, misinformation. They take awhile to update, and some of their ways of "saying things" in terms of info entered into your account are strange. Dont panic if things dont show up for awhile.

| Re: My new CW adventure...continues Good advice Gary! Thanks. My documents have NEVER shown up on the CW site. I'll refax them again, and again if needed just to keep from being knocked out of the loan mod cue again. I have a phone counsel with NACA next Thursday night and hope to come away from that feeling better. Thanks, Cobra |

| Re: My new CW adventure...continues Cobra...my docs never showed up on the CW site either. We went to NACA after the first cr*p offer from CW. You can read about our fiasco with CW in the success thread: NACA/CW Success Yippee!!! So don't fret if CW doesn't keep your online account updated. I spent a lot of time worrying because CW didn't show to have received anything and didn't even show that they were working on NACA's restructure... |

| Goodmorning all; Is there a problem if your mortgage is owned by BONY and the Obama Homeowner Affordability Plan? I just found out that my loan is owned by BONY but based on some of the profile questions I'll qualify for the Obama plan. Is there a known problem with BONY? Thanks, Cobra |

| Well my day was going preety good until the mailman delivered this today! Says I have until 4/9 to come up with back payments or they will start the process to foreclose. Now...I am in "Active Processing" for a loan mod and have just started working with NACA. I have a phone consultation next Thursday night. I have only made one mortgage payment since October. It was applied to Nov. So I am 3 payments down. I could make one by the end of March, but I will really to strapped. I am starting back to work Monday the 16th and will get my first paycheck on the 27th. Thoughts? Cobra |

| Re: My new CW adventure...continues cobra............your post is here in your original thread..........it makes answering questions and following the story much easier if you would ask questions and post updates here in your original thread so that everything is in one spot. NACA has an urgent process they follow if you were to get a sale date.......while going through the modification with them.
