New Fax number

I received a phone call from CW, yes, they called me?
Gave me a fax number to use to send modification request that my loan would be under review for The US Treasury Homeowner Plan............before I said huh? I called CW workout dept. to verify number, they said yes new number given for those under review by cw and ustreas.
Here it is 888-491-4951
My letter of intent from cw gave me till March 20th to bring current.
Anyone else contacted and given this number?

Hello to all,
I faxed all of my documents on March 2nd, keep checking cw website no messages.
Called workout earlier today, they say if I received call and told to send information that it went to Plano, Texas and is under review "whenever" the housing plan from Treasury is up and running I will be notified. This is all so confusing for me. They now show me 5 months behind I need to bring current by March 20th. Last payment not accepted...and it was a struggle to come up with the money. Will the next step in the foreclosure process take place? Since CW when talking to them today, showed I am NOT in workout,( but requested to send documents )they might consider my mortgage for one of the new plans.As many have said here, they have absolutely no idea either, just giving it their best shot. The CW people that are still there working must be as overwhelmed as some of us are here..I just can't rely on the verbal communication they spew...I guess they have no choice...but waiting till April or later for a specific workout for me, I see smoke and mirrors. I don't know what to believe anymore. My health is very fragile but I am not going to walk away from my home of 30 years.Is that what their waiting for me to do?

Yes, I was given this # as well. I faxed over documents twice so far. They are still not showing up in the system.

The rep who I spoke with yesterday said that it could take 3-5 days to show up instead of the customary 48 hrs.

I sent my documents out on March2nd, and as of today they told me it would be sometime in April before my loan modification request would be reviewed by them.

CW in Calf. has said no to me 3 times, maybe this is the last outpost! ......I need them to go 30 instead of 15 and drop my rate just by 1% and it would save me $300 per mo.I need a "helping hand" but.. having to wait till sometime in April? I'm 61 years old and I need help but so do we all.

Hi Knockdown,

I wanted to let you know that Finally, today my fax showed up in the system. i'm not sure if it's the one I sent last Thursday or this Monday. Hopefully your fax will show up soon if it hasnt' already.

Good luck with your situation. I'd imagine it would be sometime in April, as that is only 2 weeks away and it just sounds like they are so backlogged

CW numbers are posted at the beginning of the CW forum.
I call Home Retention repeatedly...........
