Attorney Fees and Foreclosure fees

After many, many months, we were able to modify our loan with CW. There is over $4,000.00 foreclosure and attorneys fees tacked on???

Anyway, my question is this. Can we write those fees off on next year's taxes?

that would be a question for a CPA........or tax attorney.
or you may want to do a search on Internal Revenue Service to see if it is answered there to be sure..........
