You know who you are. Has countrywide updated your online account info yet? Mine still says approved, and that the site should have been updated no later then Feb 16th. Of course it has not. Also, are you still recieving statements, with your pre-mod payment amount and still showing as past due? I also noticed that Countrywide is still reporting to the credit companies as past due. I called Countrywide again yesterday and was told it takes 90 days to get the site updated. Also when i asked to make my payment over the phone, i was told there was a fee, yet previously i was told there was not. Jut seeing what everyone else is still dealing with. Thanks! |

Also they sent me updated statement through the mail after I made a payment before March 1st. My account showed a 15 dollar fee for "inspection" making sure I was living in my house. I sent in extra money to make sure any fees are taken care of and the rest went to pay down principal. |

Im irrirated because they still are reporting late to the credit bureau, and still sending me wrong statements. The computer says as of 1/27 it is completed and should be updated by 2/16. Of course when i call, they say it can take up to 90 days. I feel bad for everyone who is still trying to get things rolling. |

How did you make your payment? Does it show up in the "transaction history" section online? If not I'd be concerned because the grace period ends in a few days. Lastly, I was not charged any processing fees. The $15 was a one time fee for making sure I was living in the house. |

At that time they took escrow and the accumulated late charges from the PREVIOUS loan out of the accumulated late charges and escrow was NOT written into the modification. All of a sudden I am two months, that's being reported to the credit bureau and I'm being charged for "home inspection" fees. After three months of being transferred to "other" departments, computers being down and the general run-around, this is still not resolved. Watch what they do with your accumulated payments!! |

Again I sent in extra 80 dollars to make sure any "fees" are covered after reading some people who have had their payment applied elsewhere leaving not enough money to cover their monthly payment. 15 dollars was taken out to cover inpection fee...65 went to pay down principal. Also, they told me not to send in personal check because they were not going to cash it for three months to make sure I am able to afford new payment. |

I have carefully examined my papers, and i see nothing about sending only certified check. It does state to send payments to the Plano Tx, address. Nothing about method of payment. I will just send it in and hope for the best. |

I wanted to make sure they recieved my payment. They said it was ok that i mailed a check, but they prefer a cashiers check or money order. I told them if thats the case, they should have included that in the mod documents. Of course no one can tell me when they will cash the check though. Also, no one knows for sure when my online account will be updated. One lady sent an e-mail to her supervisor asking that they get it done. Another person did something similar. Its been 2 months since they recieved my paperwork. I am going to assume the are waiting to actually cash my payment until they have all their systems updated. That of course is an assumption. That would make sense though. Instead of having to put it in a suspense account. I figure since they recieved my payment last monday, and it has not hit the bank yet, that is the case. Check's to them clear usually in a day. She did tell me that the employees have the option of lots of overtime there. They are swamped!! |

I also had to call CW because they were trying to charge me late fees from before my loan was restructured. I talked to the Hope Department and they had to take off the fees since my payments haven't been late since we got the restructure. |

I sent a personal check and they have yet to cash it. |

Just stay on top of it and check your account religiously. Check, double check, and CHECK AGAIN! Call them. I think I am going to have to call them yet AGAIN because the late fee popped up on this month statement also for April! |

Which can be forever. It has been two months already. Still nothing. |

When i speak to the retention team, they say that they have recieved it. They cant tell me if and when they will cash the check. I am assuming they arent the one who enter the mod details into they computer. I dont know. I just wish i knew if it was gonna take a month before they even cashed it. |

At this point, is it likely that we are in good shape, or is it still hugely possible that they will reject us...we have been put through so much w/ this company...I don't want to get my hopes up if this is just another ring they are having us jump through.... We live in VA and our state entered into the settlement agreement...any input would be appreciated. |

Just curious, alot of folks were approved for mods via e-mail, working through NACA on 3/19/2009, trying to get an estimate on timing. I noticed that after I got my approval e-mail from NACA last week, my CW online account showed cancelled, I freaked out and called NACA yesterday and they assured me that the mod was a done deal, just to wait on the paperwork to show up. It sounds like you're a bit skeptical of CW tactics, as we all are. I was re-assured though through NACA that they have an agreement and once they agree to a restructure , they can't welch on the deal, let me know. thanks mshanie |
