Cassietw~ What I wish for them is give me manageable rate. 42% of my monthly gross income goes to my mortgage (Principal, Interest and propterty tax). I am able to manage my mortgage and living allowance with me and daughter however, I do not have savings nor emergency money if something break in my house, good luck! I will try to make this short. I have fixed rate 5.875/30 years, underwater. After Obama's announcement of HAMP I called BOA if I can be consider for modification. They say I'm not qualified only if I am 30-90 days late. So for this Oct; I did not pay, sighting hardship..not quite sure what would happen. I'd like to keep my home even it's underwater but I want them to give me HAMP's program since I am qualified, DTI is 31% I am more than this, thanks again for your email. |

Have you signed up with NACA to see if they can help? I know some people were never late and were able to get a mod....I went late simply because I could not afford it and had to pay back personal loans I took out to make my mortgage payment for about 6 months straight. Have you sent in a hardship letter? Have you email Barbara J. Desoer at BofA? Besides the call for HAMP, what other actions have you taken? If you start your own story thread, you can keep a record of all your actions etc. I see you signed up in the forums a year ago but have only posted a few times here on this thread....Have you been reading all this time or just came back to this site after a year has passed. Good Luck! Cassie

Advocacy told me to ignore it and that they would note the account. Yet I received a call from the HOPE dept. last night re: Are you accepting the mod? I told them that I was already in a mod and it was permanent and not a trial. I was driving home when they called and they requested I call back when I had the docs in front of me. (Good thing I didn't throw them away!) Anyway, they were closed by the time I called back and so I called this morning. They said I needed to deny the mod. I told them "no"...with my luck they would deny the mod I have in play. They say they see no other mod! AARRGGHH!!! I don't trust these people!!!!!!! She says I will continue to get calls and if I ignore it and don't deny it, then they would continue with forclosure! WTF!!! What is wrong with this picture!?!? I called advocacy back again and again they insisted they have to transfer me to the OOP for special handling. Yet the last time they did that, they said, oh, your with NACA. You need to talk to advocacy.....what a friggin JOKE!!!!! After being on HOLD for almost 10 minutes to be transferred to OOP, the line hung up on me! HA!! Ok, so now, I am on hold again with advocacy and she is connecting me to the OOP! HA! Round and Round we go...where we stop, nobody knows!!!!!!!!!! I will update again shortly! Cassie |

Now she tells me that I should also do the second mod also and send a copy of the one we already sent notarized and the second one with a note diectly to the OOP. She says they have no record of receiving the first mod back. So....not quite sure what I am going to do at this point! Good Luck everyone! I think I am gonna need all I can get!! Cassie |

My suggestion when things get this complicated- Be mechanical. Do what you are supposed to do as mechanical as possible. That takes the thinking and mind talking out of it. And also your emotions are little bit out of it. Being emotional makes it harder. May be you can explain your situation in an email to OOP or someone and I hope they can fix it. I'll pray for your strength and resolution in the matter. Peace (I just read your last post and vaguely remember your other post. sorry if i did not make much sense ) |

It routed me back to good ole customer service! I talk the person into connecting to the OOP and she comes back and says that the OOP doesn't have a file for me and because I am with NACA, they will not help me! HA!! I think my hair is turning gray! Then she says she is gonna connect me with Advocacy....but she transferred me back to good ole customer service again!! You know I am only a 20 minute drive from Simi Valley...they are lucky I am not psycho!! At least YET!!! But I am getting closer thanks to them!!! Now I have another chick telling me, "don't you want a second chance?" A WHAT???? She says, "the MHA is a second chance." TO WHAT???? OMG!!! Then she says it's another option.... I told her about the other mod and she said, well just do the first one. I told her I would, but no-one can seem to find the mod docs I sent back. She say's just pay the amount you are supposed to on the date it said too. Then she asks what I am so worried about...???? Is this a trick question? Then she puts me on hold for about 10 minutes and reads off the permanent loan mod we received and said they received the docs back on Oct 14th and everything is fine....... At least I finally got someone to acknowledge receipt! Not that it matters, the next 5 people might not see it! For all who get conflicting data, please know that you could talk to 5 people before you get the truth! Another number I was given today... Home Retention: 800-669-0102 Good Luck everyone! I need a vacation in Tahiti!!! Cassie |

Did you, by chance, fax over the docs to NACA so they have them on file? If so, maybe Kevin Winn could do some enforcing for you. Good luck and stay strong! |

That fixed rate contract that you DID sign may be one generated as an 'AG Mod'. IF that is the case, AND you also did qualify for getting the MHA mod that has the trial period, I have seen postings where people were told that IF they qualified under MHA, any 'AG Mod' would be canceled. For that reason, BE CAREFUL. You may have signed and returned the mod but they may have INTERNALLY canceled that one within BofA. I know this warning has several 'IF's to it. Also, as you may have noticed, you can NOT count on what the HRT personnel are telling you. Check your account online. IF you see the mod reflected THERE, you probably do have the mod. I hope.

OMG Cassie, I can't believe this!!!! (Well ok I guess I can.) When you call advocacy are you talking directly to Jonathon Murphy x 9556 or Anthony Lopez X8751. 866-806-2434? Hey maybe you could call David's old extension??? I also noticed today that there was a note on the BofA sight today that how we access our account will change next month. It sounds like the Countrywide site is going away and we'll have to access it via the BofA sight.

WSJ reports today that BOA on a CW mortgage for an 85 yr old took a huge loss and did a reverse mortgage for $85,000 on like a $425,000 mortgage so 85 yr old makes no more mortgage payments and upon death BOA gets house. It said BOA has done like 11 of these as I recall. They are all related to the CW suit and she was lied to about how fast payments would go up. These are all very special situations. |

If you guys have the rollercoaster, then I've got the bucking bronco where they are doing everything to 'buck' me out of my house! Let me tell you, this is no rollercoaster ride I'm on. It is certainly more thrilling and death-defying than ANY ride I would EVER PAY to be on! Say your prayers for my case, please. Lord grant me my injunction and mine enemies more enlightenment.
