I sent my docs back Tuesday without the HUD-1. My argument (they already have it!). Anyway, I confirmed yesterday that the FedEx was signed for at 9:59 am in Simi Valley. (Funny, I sent it from Los Angeles and the tracking shows they flew the docs to the Oakland processing center and then back to Canoga park processing center then to Simi Valley!!) What a waste! I guess that is why it is so expensive to use FedEx!! My on-line account has changed again....

I was rejected numerous times, had a loan mod offer, then had it cancelled for eroneous reasons....etc.... The amount of times I was was told NO, Sorry there is nothing we can do, yes, we can help, then no whoever told you that was wrong, yes we can do this, wait for papers, no papers, no record of conversations, no this and no that..... The list is never ending. I have made well over 200 calls to BofA in the last year. I made bout 30-40 to NACA since early March 09. Probably about 5-6 working weeks of my time. Not to mention the stress... I am a strong person in general, but if I can do this, so can others! I am not Wonder Woman (Although I have worn the costume! LOL!) It became a passion and a competition after they pi55ed me off. Just don't give up! Keep fighting!! Good Luck! ~Cassie~ |

Did you get your MOD through NACA? And is it FHA? I know you probably posted that here, but there are so many messages on here, LOL.

2% for the life of the loan (329 mo.). Old Percentage: 7% ARM Old payment: (I/O and T/I-escrow) $3,528.00 New Percentage: 2% Fixed (for life!) New payment: (PITI) $2,581.51 (2nd Mtg with Indymac unchanged) Quick Overview Self employed: No Government Backed: NO (not FHA) ARM: Yes Interest Only: Yes Loan Servicer: Countrywide/Bank of America Investor: Deutsche Bank (Does not extend loan terms) NACA submitted: March 26th, 2009 Emailed Barbara Desoer - BofA: End of May 2009 BofA acknowledged NACA submission: June 1, 2009 BPO: July 2009 (BPO = Broker Price Opinion = curbside appraisal) BofA proposal to NACA: Sept 11, 2009 (Not NACA solution) NACA acceptance to BofA: Sept 11, 2009 (Per my request) Current Status: Received docs on 10/12/2009, FedEx'd them back to BofA on 10/13/2009. My on-line account in the workout status area was updated 10/15/2009 (Today) to reflect the approval. Waiting for on-line account to reflect new loan terms. I got these docs after 4 calls and speaking with Jonathan Murphy. More info... Current on mortgage (never late) through April 2009. Missed May 1/2 payment June ($1800.00- was applied to escrow account & BPO fee) Missed July Missed Aug Missed Sept Missed Oct Don't have to pay Nov. First new payment due Dec 1st, 2009. It is not the NACA solution that was proposed, but I advocated with BofA and was a squeaky wheel. I did not drop NACA as I felt they were a backup to my actions and if what I was doing to push the mod through did not work and I ended up with a sale date, NACA has a good record of putting the sale dates off. I refused to drop NACA many times with BofA and I continually pushed and called to get people to talk to me. Many that said they could not give me data, but they DID give me data after I pushed for it. I kept pulling the "poor me" card! I hope this helps people get an idea.... Good luck everyone! Don't give up!! ~Cassie~

I applied with NACA in March, was submitted in April, never heard from them again even after making numerous phone calls and phone appointments. I talked to Kevin in September, he sent in my financial info (wrong again lol) to Bank of America....emailed him this Sunday and he's been on Bank of America since. WISH ME LUCK! I need it...we all do. I was told the same thing as you, "you qualify. You don't qualify. You qualify." The same thing. Different answers all the time. I lost work time too to take care of this. |

At least my goal is for them to give me manageable (of course my house is upside down as well.) payments. I am single parent -just making my living just right (no savings). I'd like to keep my home of 5 years. What can you say any feedback is appreciated. Seems like and made it sounds I need to be in a hardship only to get qualified for program so I did. |

Hi Ariel, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I am not on-line sometimes very often. I might be around in spurts only... so make sure you start a thread and put your specifics in it. There are a lot of members here who can help you... You haven't given me much information other than maybe you "created" a hardship? I don't quite understand. If you are a single parent and want to keep your home...do you have a hardship and cannot afford your current payment? Or, is it just that you are upsidedown and want a better percentage rate? Can you provide more data? Thanks! Good Luck! Cassie

The email he sent to NACA said we didn't pass the NPV test. Get this, he wants to increase my rate from 6.25 to 7.5. That's alot of help. Did you meet with this kind of resistance? Thanks
