I get put on hold and then he comes back and says' yes. Print it off from the website and send it in with your docs. I go to Countrywide/BofA on-line and now I cannot access my on-line account!!! I was just on it 20 minutes ago!!! I should have printed off the Hud-1 then just in case! I almost wouldn't be surprised if they just blocked my account with the phone call! AARRGGHHH!! Anyone else able to log on???? |

That is great! I am new here and your story makes me hopeful! Can you tell me how long it took, what was the process and who David is (or his replacement?). I have heard i should contact Barbara at the OOP. Is this an in house mod or HAMP? Any other pointers?

Start by contacting Barbara, if that doesn't get you moving, search the threads for Jonathan or Anthony. They're contact info is posted all over the threads... Thanks and Good Luck! P.S. It is not the NACA solution, it was another in-house I was offered as I was a thorn in BofA's side!! (Not HAMP) Remember, the squeeky wheel get's the grease!

You MUST verify that your loan payments show the mortgage balance DECREASING. Also, get a copy of your modification contract that shows their signature, not just yours. That has been their claim to renege on the AG mods after taking MONTHS of the payments. Sorry to tell you but you have to still watch out with these sneaky deceitful lenders.

Now still waiting to log onto the CW/BofA site to get the copy of our Hud-1. If I had it now, I could already be at the FedEx office sending the papers back to them! Cassie |

"quick, Cassie needs this document, let's take the server down and mess with her just a little bit longer"! Maybe they are making some radical new change to help people...ha ha! |

I think it is the amount of people logging on to schedule their mortgage payments.... It is still unavailable. I was on it earlier and should have went with my initial gut instinct and printed the darn thing off. I have a copy of it at home. That just means I don't send the docs until tomorrow. I really wanted them to get out the door today though..... Show them I mean business!! |

Congrats! Do not worry about those two paragraphs. I called David L about them and if you are not in BK don't worry. The other paragraph about the title policy, David's comment was to ignore it and he wished they would stop putting that in as it just confuses people! FYI When I made my first new payment is I think when the website updated. Possible some when I sent the docs back. Also, you can make your first and second payments on the phone with advocacy because you will not have coupons. I now receive coupons with corrected statements and all. Yahoo!

I got it off the Countrywide website after I logged in on the front page. Still couldn't access my loan info on the Countrywide sight, haven't tried the BOA site yet. |

1) Cassie, regarding the payment: If you make a payment on December 1, that pays the interest that accrued for the month of November. So technically, when your payment coupon or the document says your first payment is due on December 1 but there is language that the new contract period starts in November, the statements are both correct. November is NOT added to the principal balance. 2) My case: Suit filed. Judge looked a bit shocked. Of course, most people ARE when they hear this tale. It is almost like the situation has the other type of 'tail' involved, like the devil himself. They did not implement the mod but transferred some PARTIAL interest in the note. With the RESPA request for them to honor the contract since a transfer is not to affect the mortgage instrument, how would they even claim the investor did not know of the agreement that exists to modify that mortgage, since one of the investors, the one who was also the servicer, STILL is an investor? And there is serious doubt that they can claim the new SERVICER did not know either.

So I got my mod docs for the 2% for the life of the loan PITI with first new payment starting Dec 1st, 2009 in the amount of $2581.00.... We received the docs Monday and I sent them FedEx yesterday back to BofA. (24 hour turn around) Then I get home and have another FedEx from BofA. It is an offer for the HAMP mod with trial payments of $1871.00.... it is almost as is they are thinking the person is gonna sit on the mod offer a couple of days, so let's send her a teaser and see if she bites! Of course the HAMP is not anywhere near as good as the 2% for life so I am gonna ignore it of course. But...I am now part of their statistic and report card.... I am now being counted as a Trial Mod Offer to Obama when they never seriously offered it and I was already in another approved mod! What a joke!!! Seems like another way to not really help people but show the government..."Look!, see how many people we tried to help that didn't take the help!" Pathetic!!! Good Luck everyone! ~Cassie~ |
