Re: Failure is not an option for us....

Thanks Rozuki!

I got back from my Grandmother's service in No. Cali late Sunday night....
I am so far behind in everthing and I am playing catch up at home and work. Was really hoping to have docs in hand upon my return...

Update: I spoke with the BofA negotiator last week on Wednesday. She said she was having the docs FedEx'd on Thursday and we should have them by Friday the 25th. Nothing on Friday....Nothing yesterday... My mod is supposed to start on November 1st. This was all sent to NACA and NACA's response to BofA on September 11th. Still nothing. Negotiator said that NACA did not send email directly to her so she will have to access the NACA database to see if what I am telling her is true.....she also made it seem like a horrible hastle and complained about my call and making more work for her.....I guess I am a liar until proven otherwise....

Docs weren't sent...who is telling the truth now?!?!?!?!?

If she would just send me the docs, get them back and update my account, she wouldn't be getting my annoying time consuming calls....as if I have nothing else to do either, and can sit on hold for hours with NACA or be transferred back and forth between the various BofA departments and supervisors....I have all the time in the world! I don't have to take care of my 4 children and clean house, cook dinner, do laundry, go grocery shopping, wash the dog, work 40 hours, commute 2 hours a day, pay the bills and work on our budget....I have all the time in the world for this!!! UUGGHHH!!

dthom,

I read you finally got your docs but no terms???? What is wrong with BofA!!!?? I cannot believe it!

Re: Failure is not an option for us....

Cassie

Glad to have you back.

We received our trial MHA packet on Friday of last week. We have all of the paperwork ready to go except for a letter from Michigan unemployment stating when my husband will exhaust all of his unemployment benefits and extensions. Hopefully that will be in the mail today.

Got a call from BofA last night just seeing how we were doing. The rep was really nice. I asked her if she knew how we had gotten approved for MHA trial mod, she said our account was odd, First said we didn't qualify then stated we did qualify. Their system says it starts on Oct. 1, the packet says Nov. 1st. We are going with October 1st and getting payment in tomorrow as soon as I deposit my pay check.

They see nothing of NACA at all. Yet our account on line shows a long list of docs received. Some of which I had submitted to David L. Some are from NACA I think, for the forbearance( which BofA does not even know about). NACA website is asking for updated pay stubs, and 4506T which I had already sent a few months ago.
Tried to email NACA, no response back.

I don't thing that this MHA pre approval has anything to do with NACA, but has either to do with David L. or perhaps from my request for a mod with MHA way back in January of 2009. Who knows, eventhe rep said well the good thing is you have pre approval and can make the smaller payment.

I know what you mean about being away, we went to our sons new home in northern Michigan for the weekend and now I have laundry to do, housework to do, and go to work 40 hours. At least my commute is a grand total of only 6 blocks from my home bout 3/4 of a mile.

Hope you get your docs today. I know we will both soon be at the end of this!
Well back to work. lunch is over.

Oh man, sorry to hear that! Always one dumb thing after another. I don't care if they think I bug. I usually leave about 4 messages a day. If they don't want me leaving all those messages, they should call back after the first. I understand they're busy, but so are we! I make sure I call all my customers back everyday. Freaks!

Re: Failure is not an option for us....

Hey Cassie

Just thought I'd update, got the trial modification packet in the mail, Fed Ex'd it back on the 1st. Checked Fed Ex today and BofA received it on 10/02 at 8:48 am. I can tell they received it, because the calls from the collection dept have ceased, just as advocacy told me they would do once they got the signed paperwork and addtional documentation.

First trial payment not due until 11/01.

Just hope they accept the letter from Michigan unemployment. It does not give an exact date when husbands enemployment will end (can't as you have to "apply" for each extension. Your end date could change if you find a job and then get laid off again for example. You always get approved, unless of course you would get a job. But it does show 43 weeks remaining available, just over the 9 months required. He will also be able to stay on longer if he is in one of the training programs provided by a program here called "No Worker Left Behind". He is scheduled to attend his assessment on December 1. I attached a note explaining why they cannot give an exact date benefits end. Hope they accept it.

Otherwise things here have been hectic. After trip to see our son, husband informed me he had been having trouble with being very short of breath. Went to Dr. to informed he there was some fluid buildup, so he is being tested for heart failure. Dr is baffled, as he just had a full battery of tests on his heart two weeks ago and everything was fine. So we wait for the results.

Re: Failure is not an option for us....

Hey all of you out there who are still saying "Failure is not an option!" If you didn;t already read my post elsewhere....I went to the Phoenix STD Event and after 19 grueling hours there with naca and BOA I actually came away with a 3% first mtg. from mu 7.25%.
Can you believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Saving us our home and over $800 a month.
They are still reviewing my second mtg. that is with a private investor to see if 1% will work.
Hang in there guys!!!!!!!! I had almost no faith in going to the Event here in Phoenix. But, being able to have naca and BOA in the same room definetly helped streamline the BS.
Now. I will wait on the papers like everyone else. And when they come Fed-X , are signed, returned, received by BOA, documented to my account, and then they actually accept payment from me then I will know that this is not a dream and our nightmare will be over.
Bless you all out there for listening and answering questions with honesty! Couldn't have made it this far without the life support at loansafe and all involved!

Congrats sandyg...I don't normally follow the NACA threads so I didn't catch the other post. That is great news and I do sincerely hope they follow through as promised! I wish I lived in an area that NACA was coming to just so I could stop waiting already. While 19 hours in a day must be grueling, waiting for over half the year is exhausting me. I'd take one painful long stretch over this. Now I'm just waiting for new pay stubs since my husband got a raise. Congrats again!

Whoa! Heart failure?? Let's pray it is something else that is minor! Have you heard anything yet??

Good to hear that you finally got your docs. Since it starts 11/01/2009, did you get a break for this month so you are in a better condition going forward????

Still waiting for our docs and now my CW/BofA web-site says that I am in review for the HAMP program and I should get something in writing by 10/09/2009. What a joke! What happened to my mod that was fixed at 2% for the life of the loan due to start on Nov 1st?

I took a chance and called and left a message with David Leighton, just in case there was anything he could do or maybe he could call his replacements in to help me....nothing at all..... I have called Advocacy about twice a week and depending on who I get, I still get different stories....

Other news...my daughter had her first pre-natal appointment and ultrasound yesterday... We all thought she was 14 weeks and either farther along or more than one bun in the oven because of how much she is showing. Turns out she is an "early shower" and is actually only 12 weeks - 1 day as of yesterday. We were all shocked! I didn't look as big as her until my fifth month! She wasn't chubby to begin with either!!

Dr. said he thinks it's a boy...but kinda early to tell and said "Don't tell anyone!". I thought it was cute!

I haven't been on the threads too much...it is too scattered now and I find that when I want to comment to try to help someone, their info and story are all over the place in multiple threads....and I would end up have to ask them for more info without being able to read their story in the beginning of the thread and offer advice......Just not the same anymore. It was so much easier to follow peoples stories before when they were kept in their own threads and see trends the banks are heading towards.... Now it is just splattered to me....

You can always email me though if you don't see me around much...

Virtual Hugs!
Cassie

I think I will wait until after I finally get the docs (so I can send a copy for proof to the 2nd if they need it) and definitely wait for BofA to have all their ducks in a row and the website updated correctly before I open a new door! I don't think I could take much more right now!!!

By the way CW - Thanks for hanging around for us old timers still working on it!

Re: Failure is not an option for us....

SANDY!! I was waiting for you to post when you got your MOD! That's awesome! I remember we were talking a few months back and you were having a hard time. That's great. Congratulations. I'm going to the STD this weekend here in Vegas.

Wow! Congrats Sandyg! I think we both showed up on the forums in about the same time last Feb! Glad you finally got it! Too bad you had to do the whole Save the Dream event thingy to get it done though. And...19 hours! That is as bad as going through labor! Geez! So happy for you!! Keep us updated through to the end!

Re: Failure is not an option for us....

Update: Called advocacy again just now....and now my account is flagged as being with the OOP. HA! It can't be with the OOP if it is with NACA! So the girl put me on hold and then came back and said, oops, it was flagged incorrectly....I will get that fixed. I laughed and told her I already knew it was wrong!!

Anyway, I called to see if docs have been sent out. She told me to call NACA. I said what for, did you send them the docs? She said I have to ask all my questions through NACA and that NACA can call them. I told her that I know that NACA does not call them and simply sends an email that does not get responded to. I told her that I would hate to have to contact my negotiators supervisor again and get her in trouble.....so if she would just look and tell me whether or not the docs have been sent I would appreciate it.

She said that there was correspondence with NACA on the 2nd of October where NACA was asking about the docs. I asked her to look more closely as to who the correspondence was with.... and she could see it was me who called in about the docs and the Advocacy rep sent an email requesting docs on my behalf to the negotiator on Oct 2nd. I told her that contacting NACA is a waste of time for me and asked her to please just save everyone the trouble and let me know..... have the docs been mailed out or not??????!!!

She looked and said an internal message was sent to a "Drina" to "please send out docs". That was supposedly done yesterday.... Hmmm...We will see!!!!

I will win this game!

By the way CW - Thanks for hanging around for us old timers still working on it!

It worked though....she didn't want a fellow co-worker to get in trouble.....

Hey, I wish our 2nd's were with the same lender...we could compare notes! I have read a little about Indy and I am not too excited about the battle ahead!

Take Care,

congrats sandyg!!! that was my feeling exactly when we got our mod. thank you everyone on loansafe for their honesty and support...

cassietw! seriously, that catch phrase "failure is not an option" kept me going for my fight. hang in there. keep bugging them for the paperwork. when i contacted advocacy for my paperwork, they told me different dates, yet i received both loan docs on the very same day i called them.

cw, you rock!!!

is it me, or a lot of us on here are women? hehe...

My husband does not have the patience for this...he'd have flipped out on someone by now and had us flagged for the shredder for sure!

ama,
my husband too. he had already given up a long time ago if it wasn't for me..it's not that he is an impatient person, but with all the run arounds and conflicting information, he thought we were hopeless..
