Please help!!! CW is screwing us over!!!

Hi, we have recently been issued a notice of default on our mortgage. This really threw us off guard because we were in the process of setting up a loan mod to repay our back balance. we are about 15000 behind on our payments (12months) and they were working out the plan, then we got served papers and cw won't tell us why.
We are trying to scrape together every penny we can to get some money to them to lower what we owe in back payments, but cw isn't helping us at all. We do not want to lose our house, what can we do???
Please, any advice will be appreciated!

Contact NACA, they are a non-profit homeowners advocacy group that has been helping many folks who have CW as a serviser.https://www.naca.com/refinance/refinanceSubmission.jsp

I signed up on NACA and am going to submit the documents this afternoon, have a counseling session set up for Saturday morning. Any one know how long this process will take? We have already gotten our Notice of Default, I do not want my home going to auction. Anyone else have suggestions? Should I also contact a lawyer in my area?

If you are going through NACA they have help available if you get an auction date while going through the process.............the process can take anywhere from 30-90 days from start to finish.
