They are wating on validation. It has been 18 months. I moved out and now I am moving back. I think I will still have at least 6 months to save before the home would go to auction. I am now working and want to know is it to late to save my home? I owed $355K with a 1,2 &3 mortgage. The 1 &2 is with Countrywide. The 3rd is with JP Morgan. The home is only worth about $175K. The Bank ask if I wanted to work something out but I didn't say yes because I don't know my rights. I did surrender home in the discharge. But can I still save it? PLease reply. |

I have spoken with CW and my attorney. apparently, you CAN retain your home if CW will work with you. they tell me that they are willing to work with us but I haven't seen anything from them recently. we have had some correspondence that says we'll be contact by a negotiator to work out new terms but that hasn't happened yet. give your attorney a call and give him/her a heads up. a letter from your attorney to CW is a probably a good idea as well. good luck! I'll let you know how it works out with us. |
