Letter Two To President Countrywide I am sending this letter out to three different offices of Countrywide, I have been in contact with NACA, but I felt that I also needed to get this out to everyone I possibly could. Sending it certified as told on this forum. So here it goes: Office of the President Attn: Adrienne Ely 400 Countrywide Way MS SV-314 Simi Valley, CA 93065-6283 This will be the second letter I have written with regards to my pending foreclosure. After my first letter, copied enclosed, I was assigned a loan mediator, Charmony Burton, which to date I have been unable to contact. I have called her consistently, but she has been unable to return my calls. I enclosed a copy of the first letter stating the situation, so I do not feel it is necessary to go over it. My attorney has requested that I obtain all the information in my file including: my original mortgage note with my signature, all disclosures, all loan documents in your file and a copy of my appraisal. Please fax me the copies to XXX-XXX-XXXX, then mail a certified copy to me at my home address. I have tried contacting your office to work out an agreement, so I do not lose my home. I feel that your company has been avoiding the issue and is just biding its time until it is too late for me to save my home. My phone calls have been put on hold, and then disconnected, I leave messages and never receive return phone calls as promised on the recording. Your company promised our Governor Schwarzenegger that you would be doing everything in your power to stop all the foreclosures occurring in this state. Is this is the way you handle the problem by avoiding, dismissing and ignoring it? I am posting this letter on the Internet on the www.LoanSafe.org website and am sending a copy to anyone else that would find this information of interest. I have been trying to contact a live person, since June 2008. What I have gotten is recorded messages, rude and heartless people, who could care less about my present situation. As stated in the Fannie Mae Announcement #06-18 (Oct. 4th 2006) regarding the servicing of Conventional Mortgage Modifications, I am entitled to a Loan Modification. I understand that at the present time you are only working on ARM Loan Modifications, but what will happen to the homeowners that do not have an ARM and are on a fixed interest rate. This doesn’t seem fair to me to pick and choose which loans you are going to modify. I do not want to lose my home because I have a fixed rate. It would seem to me that it is in your best interest to avoid foreclosures of any kind, especially if the homeowner is like me and really wants to keep her first home. With the economy the way it is right now, home sales are down and you could potentially be out 10’s of 1000’s of dollars, by not taking care of this loan as soon as possible. I am asking for is a chance to save my home from foreclosure and the original mortgage note signed by me. My financial situation has gotten better, but I still need to get a loan modification to get everything paid up. Also, I would like to know what is happening with regards to my insurance and my property taxes. Countrywide set up the payments to cover the escrow account, when they first took over my mortgage, they told me I would only have to pay $132.00 additional to cover the insurance and property taxes; then a year later changed their mind and made it an additional $369.00 for the escrow; that is a total of $4,428.00 a year for my escrow. My insurance is $800.00+ and my property tax is $1,300 a year that is a total of $2,100.00 a year, half of what you are asking for. I would appreciate it if you could put the foreclosure process on hold until this matter has been settled. Thank you for taking care of this situation immediately. cc: CEO of Bank of America, Governor Schwarzenegger, Senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein, Federal Trade Commission, Executive Relations Coordinator, Joe Riggio, Senior Vice President, www.LoanSafe.org, Charmony Burton, Loan Workout Dept.

Re: Letter Two To President Countrywide Hi Everyone, Quick up date, just got a call from the Secretary of President of Countrywide and they are really working to get this taken care of quickly, I also was contacted yesterday by their Loan solutions company Titanium which is also working for me. I guess just a little pressure can really work for you if you are honest in your situation. Woo! Hoo! Looking good! Never Give Up!

Re: Letter Two To President Countrywide I think most people forget that the company holding your loan can only go so far. It has been said on here many times it really depends on who the investor of the loan is. They make the ultamite descision

Re: Letter Two To President Countrywide Rockswealth, I, too, have a Conventional Loan and CW is refusing to do any type of work out for us. They say we do not qualify for any of the programs. We do, however, have an Interest Only ARM, but when I call, they tell me they can't help because it's a 'straight up' Conventional Loan...whatever that means. How did you finally get them to agree to help you? Which three CW offices did you send letters to? Thanks!
